Fortunatly your pump is external, attached to the frame near the rear drivers side wheel.

The fuel filter is located under the car, in front and in a little, from the L/H rear wheel.

Undo the 2 nut connections, and fixing clamp, and its off.

Remember no smoking !

if you looked at all three fuse box. then it maybe the relay. its in dash right side. or jump power from right side front at switch . remove power wire left window first

fixed to the rear subframe underneath the car blue in colour i think

it should be bolted to the rear suspension A frame.if not it is in the tank you will have to remove the tank

please be more specific here if you can ,as bearing block means nothing to me here ,do you mean the universal propshaft hooks cross ,if so then parts are available but it may mean have the shaft machined to accept the circlip as some models just hammed over instead of a circlip but this is repairable in a machine shop who can cut a groove for the circlip to hold the joint in place

If the doors will open from the outside, but do not open from the inside - the child safety switches are probably activated. Open the rear doors (from the outside) and slide the small levers next to the doors locks (on the edge of the doors) upwards.

remove the Pro fuse 1 and try again

I would have a compression test run. The mechanic is probably right.

you must test the fuel pump outputby disconnecting the line from the carburetor and checking for fuel delivery. About the loud noise, you must see under your car if some parts is loose, otherwise, you must go to the repair shop, for inspection, since there are many mechanical can be loose or worn, such front end, exhaust , drivetrain disc brake, etc.
