2004 Jaguar XJ-Series Questions & Answers
Have a 2004Jaguar XJ8 with message air suspension fault. I have replaced the air pump and reservoir but still get the message. What can I do?
Many things will cause the air fault to come on...I have yet to ever see the retention tank ever needing to be replaced...But if or when it was installed the neg battery terminal should have been disconnected always.I assume the code c2302..Under the hood is a relay #4 on the passenger side ..check it and make sure the fuse is good.Second, the system has parameters in the air suspension module with regards to the time for compressor to fill the reservoir.Something like 3 minutes to hit 14.4 bar. If it takes longer, the asm will store code C2302. Easy to diagnose. C2303 is more of a problem as it is for air leak. If you come out and see the car sitting on the ground, you may want to tow it. As long as suspension is up, ok to drive. Either way, take it in soon .
2004 jaguar boot locked and won't open how do I open it the key won't open as well xj6
your car i presume is the xj350 series all alloy model. if so there is a key slot in the boot lid above the reg plate which never gets used because we use the plip all the time then it siezes up ! try putting wd40 in to the key slot and gently freeing it off because i think the wiring to you boot unlock motor has broken around the rh boot/trunk hinge you may also have problems with other boot funtion ie. number plate lamps good luck,

sir I am pretty sure it is the k and n filter...The oil inside the filter at times will **** through and dirty the maf sensor and throw this code...The metering cant hold a proper charge to measure air flow.I have seen this three times...I rcommend a denzo maf sensor and airaid cone air dryer or the mina gallery air dryer. These work flawless....and filter with a oil charge will cause this code.the other two codes are cyle and readiness codes that are performed by the cars ecu each time it is parked to check all modules for malfuction or codes...Remember codes are cycled between every two ignition or crank cycles unless you have complete failer of a module or drive train.
