some times you will get a bouncing in wheel ,nose dive in front end when stopping or hard breaking, did you try jacking up car so wheel is just off ground ,put a bar under tire and lift up observe wheel movement ,then do other wheels , if it is a strut the wheel will move up and down freely , look for fluid leaking around strut body ,5000 miles is not much of a factor things do break.the other is get the front end off the ground both wheels,SAFELY !!!!!! WITH THE CAR SHUT OFF WHEELS BLOCKED, have one person turn wheel while you observe it , look for anything wrong grab the wheel and try to move left to right (a small ) motion observe what happens ,is there wiggle ? with out moving steering wheel. if not sure of any of these ,PLEASE take it to a mechanic .hope this helps good luck. How old is the battery?

Check that you have pushed the spark plug wires fully home on the spark plug. If it's not turning it could be the solenoid that connects the battery to the starter motor when trying to start or simply a flat battery. Check battery first, check solenoid by listening to a click sound, check starter motor for connections check any related fuses.

There is a switch/sensor on top of the transmission that tells the ECU what gear you are in, it's a cheap part however it will often NOT throw a code, it's possible that this part is defective, this will also throw your transmission into LIMP HOME MODE, which is not fun it will feel like the transmission is bad when it is not. Also check both your input and output speed sensors as these tell the ECU what engine rpm is and what the transmission speed is relative to which gear you are in if the OD light is flashing these may be suspect, also relatively cheap and easy sensors to replace. Get KIA brand parts as aftermarket parts may not be calibrated properly.

Use a fuel pressure tester attach it to the fuel test port start engine read pressure reading on dial, see if it matches factory specs.

Check and replace if it is not working properly all mechanical relays will make noise when they click once to engage current to the load side of the circuit.

by can't find the fuse, you mean you can't find one labeled as cigarette lighter? Or can't locate the fuses?
Visually check for a blown fuse, if none is found you have to assume that the device is broken.

Its located just under the intake manifold. you will need to remove the exhaust pipe to access it. there is also an upper and lower intake manifold support bracket that will need to be removed as well to extract the starter.

Apparently there is a tensioner that is not keeping the belt taught and it is not centered correctly on the pulleys. Or the pulley itself could be cracked warped or nicked.. Check out all the components carefully. A small nick or crack can cause the belt to chafe and run off the pulley and snap.

U are correct, a 'tune up' is not an oil change, although the oil certainly can be changed at the time of a tune up (every 3k miles or twice a year if u don't drive much, and always change the oil filter too). Cars differ, mostly older to newer as to what can and should be done for a tune up. A car from the 1960's would need more parts replaced more often than a new car today (example: electronic ignitions of newer cars eliminate ignition points replacement, and generally, replacement is not as often of other parts: example, spark plugs).
So, a tune up can include spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and I would include fuel and air filters. There are exceptions to this too, making it more complicated to generalize what to replace, as wires and spark plugs can last 100k miles now, some vehicles don't have the traditional dist. cap and rotor to replace. Check your car owners manual for an idea of what to replace and how often. If u don't have the original owners manual, check the car manufacturers web site for info. Good luck with the tune up!
