964, rear spoiler won't work
Start by checking remote switch. Test to see if there is power at the spoiler motor. If there is power getting to the motor check for bad ground. Finally remove the cable that drives the spoiler up and down and apply 12v dc to the motor. If the motor turns check to see if you can turn the cable without the motor and that the spoiler moves. I all power checks out and the spoiler won't move by turning the cable, the gearing that the cable attaches to is most likely damaged.

For Porsche 911 1991 !! It looks like that your flapper stays closed on driverside. These flappers are controlled by servos hidden in front of windshield under the hood. There is a plastic cover. Take it off, there you see the servos. Start the car and move the levels that control the hot and cold direction up or down. You will see the servos move. If for any reason one does not move it might be the one which is defect! That could solve your problem! Got to John's Porsche 964 Web Webpage it tells you what and how to do!!

You can always close the top by pulling it up by hand. It pulls hard but you can pull it up and it might require two peaple, and then latch it down. Fuses fail to connect in the fuse panel and the switchs fail as do the motor in the pump that makes the top move. Your right also that if the car doesn't sense that the e= brake isn't on or the is'nt moving it'll not work the top either. Many fuses have to be good for all the systems that interlock the top to work the most common fuse to blow is the cigar lighter fuse as peaple plug in things that short out oftern.

1991 911 2/4 Seat belt and Air Bag lights saty on.
HI the problem you are having is with the air bag system they have a certain time limit before they need servicing so all you need to get done is have the air bag system serviced they will change some sensors and also the gas canistors if needed, not getting this done will mean your air bags wont work if you ever have an accident,
this needs servicing soon as its is a safety feature for the car their is no way of resetting it without having the air bag system fully serviced
let me know if you need further assistance ok
