Your Land Rover is no doubt fuel injected.maybe cold start injector. injects gasoline when starting in the cold, carburated vehicles used to have a choke to enrich air/fuel ratio when starting in cold.

This is because of the improper circulation of the coolant, if the AC turned on then the engine load will be considerably increase and spoil the thermal switch (which initiate the cooling fan to run). So you better clean the radiator and check the radiator pump, then replace the thermal switch to get the things done.

have you got a picture of stereo or model number as they all work differently , i will be able to tell you how to put code in and clear security with this information

remove vent under windsheild and replace/ repair broken parts

usually disconnecting the negitive terminal on the battery for 30 seconds or so ..downside is you will have to reset saved radio stations and clock .. if its a car like a dodge stratus or Concorde where you have to take one of the front wheels ( depending what side the battery is on ) off to get to the panel in the fenderwell that the battery is behind .. auto zone has a free thing where they connect a code reader to tell you the trouble code number.. but if you ask they may erase the codes so the lights will go out .. if not then disconnecting the negitive terminal is the other option

try to blow dry romote warm air only microchip may have been damaged (short circut) if that does not help see car dealer for a new key fob(remote) hope this help's good luck.

Usally there's only one either your going to have to change it again and see how that goes. After u run all the poop gas out. If that don't work u could have damaged a injector ..

This can be cuased by dirty oil and or a worn cat converter as well as weak O2 sensor signals that switch to slowly.

usually to change transmission fluid, you have to manually remove the pan, underneath the vehicle
