I started it just fine this morning, drove a mile to the store, and shut it off. When I came out, it would not start. The dash lights are all normal, and when I turn the key, nothing. No crank or anything. I checked all of the fuses, especially fuses related to the ignition system, and even replaced all of them just to check, still nothing. I recently(4 months ago), had to replace the BCM and the driverside fuse panel. By the way it is acting, and problems that I was having with the BCM the last time, the only thing that I can figure is the passlock. I have gone down the list, troubleshooting everything I could think of, and even what I read. I know there is a temporary quick fix, will it damage anything, what is the actual method, and if this will get me by, what is the proper fix that needs to be done when I can afford to do it later down the road?
The security light is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM. (Theft Deterrent Module) The TDM is what tells your computer that the correct key is being used and that it is "OK" to allow the vehicle to start and run. These 3 parts must be in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending important signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, (normally due to a failing/broken part) the car goes into antitheft mode. The car misinterperates this and thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is NOT getting that signal from YOUR specific key. There is where the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. So basically, if that light is on, your system has some sort of failing part. This can start as an intermittent "no start", to your vehicle not running for days at a time, to the vehicle NEVER starting again. The problem is electrical and computer based, so don't count on an easy reset button, or the problem fixing itself. The hard part is isolating which part is the problem. You can spend a thousand dollars through a mechanic very easily. I have had great luck with bypassing the entire system. This way the problem will never return. It actually CAN'T ever return because it is eliminated. This can also be done yourself at a much cheaper cost. Read through this link very carefully. You'll find alot of information and pictures, along with ways to help you fix this.

I need to replace the fuel pump on my 2001 Saturn L200 with a 2.2 L Engine. What is the best procedure?
Fuel Pump
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
1.9L Engine
To prevent excessive fuel spillage, whenever the tank is removed from the vehicle it should be no more than 1?2 full. Removal of the fuel pump module assembly requires the removal of the fuel tank.
2.2L and 3.0L Engines
NOTE: To prevent bending of the sending unit float arm, lift the pump module up slightly to disengage the orientation tabs in the tank. Rotate the module 90 degrees clockwise until the fuel lines are facing the 1 o'clock position.
To install:
NOTE: The fuel pump retaining ring cannot be properly installed if the flange locator tabs are not aligned with the slots in the fuel tank.
To install:

2002 E320 automatic wagon I have a 2001 Saturn L300 , the winshield wipers work, but do not return to the origanal position. They instead have decided to stay straight up and down!! It started gradually and now they stand stright up!!! Very annoying!!!!!
I had the same problem in my LW200. As the other poster indicated a new wiper motor will do the trick. This is an easy fix. Remove the wiper arms, pry up the plastic center cap and remove the nuts holding the arms down then pull them off. A soft prying nudge from underneath will help as they are splined shafts. Raise the hood, put a large deep well socket on over the splined shafts and remove the 2 large nuts holding the trim panel on. Pull up and off the long rubber which runs along the front of the trim panel, watch there is a sharp edge underneath. Now you can gently pull off the trim panel, remembering to lift it over the splined shafts. Mechanism is right there, remove 3 screws and unplug wiring. Take wiper motor off the linkage swap with a new one at advance auto, about 100 bucks, reinstall in reverse order. Note there is a stamping on the linkage telling you where the pivot arm should be for the rest or stopped position and if you ignore that your wipers will be out of whack. While you are in there you may want to change the cabin air filter as well.

Where is the blower motor relay located? The Haynes manual is useless, just at it was for the blower motor resistor.
I've talked to a mechanic who traced the HVAC circuit and his information has the relay controlling the blower high speed while the resistor controls the three lower speeds. If this is so, I should be able to ohm the resistor for functionality - if I can ever find it.
it's by the firewall pass side in the plastic blower box. Multi wire plug and two screws are showing.

I need to recharge the AC system on my 2001 L200. Where is the valve?
There are two A/C refrigerant lines. The small line is your high pressure line and the larger line is your low pressure line.
Start at the fire wall and follow the "large " low pressure line to the compressor. The low pressure charge port will be some where on that line.
DO NOT try to recharge on the high pressure side ( small line )
Good luck, let me know.
