Rather then looking for a magical fix on here ,take it to a qualified repair shop an have it checked while it is making the noise . Without hearing it we would only be guessing .

Most likely problem is the neutral safety switch coming apart. There may be additional problems. Get a scan of the computer and post the trouble codes.

Fuel filter is clogged. Or the catalyst converter is clogged.

There is a short or something is broken in the multifunction switch (headlight/turn signal switch). It will most likely need to be replaced.

The cheapest thing you can do at this point in time is to flush it. The problem with that is unless it is power flushed thetorqueconverterwill remain full of cruddytransmissionfluid. Yes you can do it your self, it is generally messy as you need to jack the thing up and unbolt thetransmissionpan unless there is a drain on it some where and the drain the fluid, the unbolting of the pan spills it all over the place. You will need a new gasket and some gasket sealer, RTV or something better. Your choice. It probably would be to your benefit to try to take the warpage out of pan hold downs with a hammer, actually two, one to hammer the point where the bolts went through if that is how you had to deal with things things and the other to act as a dolly. A new filter because it never hurts to have one and what evertransmissionfluid is required. And my suggestion would be to obtain some LUCAStransmissionadditive. I have had some interesting success with Lucas products to the point now when I perform atransmissionmaintenanceI automatically use it.

my 2003 vue loose power while driving then after a couple secounds it grabs and then was fine it do that several times then shuts down completely

Which alarm ? Content theft or vehicle ? Is there a SECURITY light lit on the insturment cluster . On your key is there a PASSKEY 3 stamped .

Have you had the engine control system computer scanned for fault codes?? Do that first and go from those results.

about $200 in parts,,,you can not do this at home,,,,,you need special tools to press yoke on and off and even then sometimes they bend,,,not a easy job,,,,,,i am a master tech and worked at saturn for 8 years and i hated doing these

Open your fuel door put your ear to the filler neck remove the cap first turn the ignition on but not to start it you should be able to hear your fuel pump if ya hear it you might have a cloggef fuel filter oh if ya don't hear any thing frim your pump it may be toast

Spray brake clean will work.

I have a 2003 vue and had similar problem. I took it to my garage, and it was wheel bearings. I've had to replace both sets since I bought the vehicle. I found out that they tend to wear through wheel bearings. I also found out that they have strut issues as well.

hydraulic operation , bleed the system , check reservoir level, replace master cylinder for cable clutch operation , replace the cable the problem is that the clutch pressure plate is not fully disengaging when the clutch pedal is depressed and the problem is not in the clutch but the pedal operation
