You need to give the gear shift cable on the injector pump a bit of slack as this is preventing change over.

Check the turbo hoses.......One hose must damadged.....Reply me....I'm working for Landrovers..Specialy 300tdi.....

i experienced something very similar, we checked everything and found 2 issues . 1 ; on chassis in front of diesel tank is a sediment filter, ours was full of jelly and silt. and also on top of diesel tank through trunk outlet and return diesel pipes partly corroded and pulling air in. swapped sender and cleared silt pot and amazed by the power difference too. hope this helps ,Reuben

Sounds like it could be losing fuel pressure to the rail, try turning ignition on for 10s, then off then on then off then try start. That should make sure the pump has pressurised so will see if it is pressure.

try taking the air cleaner assembly off you might not be getting enough air to engine
if this is the case then the throttle body needs to be maintenanced

heres another suggestion it just hasnt sucked gas to the engine to crank over sometimes they help

go out buy an electric fuel pump
find the fuel inlet source to engine hook up electric fuel pump
attach only ground to something in engine compartment
then get a can so that when gas comes out it has something to go into
tap the electric fuel pump power lead to the positive of battery let run till gas comes out make sure not to spark your working with gas
once gas becomes present detach electric fuel pump all the way set aside
hook gas line back to port and then start vehicle this should start

also with fuel filters there are 3 on a vehicle
one in engine compartment
one on chassis back by the tank
and one in the tank called the sending unit this has a filter in the tank this one could be clogged
make sure these filters are in the right position with gas flow flowing in right direction

Keep reservoir full while you are bleeding brakes. You have probably introduced air at some point.

Start at the furthest, give 2 pumps to pedal only before topping up. If possible - give the job of topping up to a competent helper.

I'm a Land Rover owner myself - old school Series models.

This sounds like major gearbox trouble.

As the selector shafts are different for gears #2 and #4, I may be inclined to think there is an external problem around the base of the gearlever.

Probably cheaper to have a look here first.

If you've been offroading, it's possible you've managed to get a stone in there.

With the covers off the transmission, if there is no fault externally that you can see, then the gearbox may have to be stripped to find the obstruction.

hello u'd need a proper manual for this in my opinion like there are plenty of dealers and online shops that deal in those.. you can get some free at reliable-store and it;s actually really illustrative

There is a procedure for emergency EPB release, which is worth a try to make it go temporarily; Turn off engine. Select P if auto, apply foot brake. Push and hold EPB switch/lever down. Turn ignition on, wait for system check to cycle. Start engine. Release EPB switch/lever. The EPB should have now released

The problem with the transfer box will either be poor adjustment of the cable or a loose grub screw on the inside of the transfer box.

Most likely you have merely blown a fuse so check that first. Next check the wiring to the trailer connection to see if anything has rubbed through to a bare wire Not all relays are the same so you may have installed the wrong type.Consult the manual (get a copy of RAVE online) and/or contact one of the reputable parts suppliers stating your model and VIN - that will ensure you get the correct replacement
