i have no fuse box diagram and my back main and brake lights are out, all bulbs checked
This fuse is no.2 in the fuse box above the pedals and it should be a 15 amp.If you plugged a trailer in then check those electrics or check your brake light switch on the brake pedal.

the hdc light is on on my freelander ?
Hi:
I helped a friend with this problem. HDC is hill descent control, and a common problem on some Freelanders.
It could be a simple adjustment to your throttle cable, see this link:

my 04 freelander is showing codes p1133, p1472, p0304, p1471, p1477, p1775, p1319, p300 and p0050. along with this my vehical has very limited torque and throtal responce through out the entire power band.
When you get that many codes and the drivability issues as well, you most likely have a single item pulling down the computer,so to speak.
You need, as you have done, list what the codes are, possible fixes, based on a trouble chart ,you won't have.
Then you need to do three things.
Have a complete vehicle wiring schematic.
Check what does work
Use logic, and do a few tests of suspected areas, if you don't get what you should, you enter the schematic and work your way back to find out why.
In your case,a very good diagnostic repair shop will be what you want.

my freelander td4 2001, hdc lights is on and flashing f4 and the car driving slow. Could you give your assistance what to do. Thank you
HDC = Hill Descent Control
1. Check the fuse as first option for HDC yellow lighting up. If you will found out it was a fuse blown, see if your brake lights are working.
2. If you have the HDC yellow light always on = fault. You might turn out the throttle position sensor, mounted at the end of the accelerator pedal.
This sensor confirms the position of the accelerator pedal when HDC is switched on. If you press the accelerator, this switch tells the system which switches off the HDC, until you release the pedal.
Just look at the switch on the accelerator pedal. Move it around and see if the HDC light will turn off.
If the following is true on your car then you may have the same fault:
Brake lights work - (if not, could be brake switch or ignition switch)
Traction control works. Try wheel spinning it on a loose surface.
ABS works. Brake sharply on a loose surface to test.
No other warning lights.
Cost of throttle position sensor for a 2001 Land Rover Freelander 2001 is around $7, part no.# LXKB100150L.
To replace it pull out the old switch. Remove cable by pushing in the lever in the middle. Slide new switch into plastic housing.

What are the fixes
P1605....Serial data communication problem with HVAC modul
P1775 Transmission system MIL fault
Go to the repair shop , for scanner and computer test.
The best (safest)way to erase trouble
codes is to use a scan tool. The tool communicates with the vehicle
computer and tells it to erase the codes. It does not alter any other
learned settings that should be retained for normal vehicle operation.
The worst way to clear codes is to disconnect the battery. In most
older vehicles (those made before 1996), disconnecting the battery even
for a few seconds, or removing the power fuse for the engine computer
(PCM) will erase the codes, along with all of the other learned settings
the computer has stored over time.
