The salvage yard you go to should have books
or a computer that has that info in there

Maybe it's just me, but a 2002 vehicle is not all that old
Why would you be getting rusty old parts from a junk yard?

Then do you media blast them & turn the rotors
A drive axle from there would be junk in my world

Do you have a MIL indicator (check engine light) on your dash? If so, go to Autozone and get them to check for trouble codes (should be no charge). If it shows a code, this will get you closer to solving your problem.

Check for current at the blower motor using a test light to ground. If there isn't any, then the blower relay will have to be replaced, or check for a blown fuse.

The simplest thing that comes to mind is fuel and air filters, perhaps even worn spark plugs. More serious could be timing belt or blocked injectors.

If the ****** is not really low on fluid you have a failed automatic transmission. You will need it removed from the car and rebuilt, about a $2500.00 repair. I would consider is the car worth this amount of money?, most likely not.

sounds like an internal problem in the steering rack, the front end will feel tight on inspection but there will be a lot of play in the steering.

Hello
The Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for correct spec for your make and engine type.

Oh yeah. Owned a 95 SC1 for five years myself with a 1.9L I believe engine. These cars require that the ECM be set right or "else." To reset the computer, you will need to unhook both battery cables, wait about 15 minutes and rehook. See if this makes a difference in how it runs. If not, you may have dirty fuel injectors or fuel filter.

if the pedal feels normal and you can't shift it into gear when the engine is off then check the shifter cables where the fail is next to the clip that holds the outer section to the transmission case
