My engine will not turn over

It sounds like you may have a damaged engine flexplate, this place has teeth on it that the starter engages to spin the engine over.

I think it is falling apart.

you have a few issues going on, its hard to say about the rear noise without hearing/feeling it, but its a good thing the brakes work! if your floorboard is wet, have u looked at the under body to see if there is a hole rusted through? hard to start and electrical problem could be battery going, or starter going. water color is your oil? if its milky you have coolant in your oil and your block may be cracked. if your car is overheating DO NOT RUN IT it sounds like your thermostat (which is cheap and easy to do, you can do it yourself) is bad. or your water pump could be frozen up or leaking. it may also be possible your leaking coolant somewhere, wether a line or the radiator. since you live in a rural area, try and look deeper into each circumstance for yourself, see if you can pin point and isolate the bad areas.

How do I change the

You will have to remove the motor mount and the bracket it is attached to on the front of the engine. Make sure to place an adjustable jack under the oil pan with something softer like wood between the jack and engine. Also removing the left front wheel and inner plastic shroud cover the crank pulley will help a lot. You can raise end lower the engine about 10 inches using the adjustable jack to allow for more access in replacing the belt. The v6 engine uses 12 point bolts which require the use of special sockets. Regular sockets won't fit and most generic 12 points will strip these bolts. You should be able to find the special sockets at any automotive store or Sears. Hope this helps.

Saturn L300 2002-security light blinks, running lights blink,

Several GM products, including the Chevrolet Impala and Malibu, the Oldsmobile Alero, the Pontiac Grand Prix, and Saturn Ion, have issues with the Security light coming on. This is many times an indication of a failing Body Control Module (BCM). Initially, the Security light will come on then go off, progressing to a constant on light, before the car will refuse to start. Other symptoms may include erratic action of electronics, a clicking sound coming from the glove box, and the air conditioning failing to blow cold air. I recommend a shop that specializes in the electronic systems of vehicles to diagnosis and make the necessary repairs. They should keep the car until they replicate the symptoms described. A new BCM from GM should cost about $230; plan on another $200 for them to diagnose the problem, replace the unit, and program the new unit. The dealers quote between $700 and $1,100 for the same repair. My experience and the experiences I have read on the internet, indicate the new BCM should last only about a year.

I have a 2003 Saturn

More than like its coming out as you drive. As your driving the cooling sytem builds pressure, enough pressure to force the coolant out. As it sits and cools the pressure will drop and thus not seeing a leak. Get somebody to manually pressurize the system with a pump and check for leaks. You will find it. If you cant do that, start the car open the hood let it get warm and start looking around under the hood and under the car, with a bright flashlight. Make sure that the cooling system is FULL before you do any of this or you may not be able to find the leak, so top it off.

2003 saturn l300 driver side

The removal of the panel is straight forward. Once you have located the screws have them all removed. The panel is attached to the door using plastic clips. You would need to pull the panel off the door. You may also use a flat head screwdriver and a rag to cover the tip to protect the panel from scratches when you pry open it. Once removed, remove the latch from the panel. If I recall correctly it is connected via a screw and/or it slides of the panel. Watch out for the linkages of the inside latch to the outside.

Once you get the panel off there should be a plastic weather protector. Do not discard or damage it. You can just pull it off gently from the car. By that time you should have access to the assembly.

The passenger-side floor is soaked!

Is it soaked with water or antifreeze? Hopefully, it is water. If it is antifreeze you need to have the heater core replaced. If it is water, the culprit is a clogged AC drain line. You should be able to find the end of the hose under the car somewhere directly under the heater/ac unit. It is usually a rubber hose with about a 3/8 inch inside diameter. They get clogged at the AC with dirt and dust. You can try a very flexible wire or use a turkey baster and pump water back up the hose to force the clog up. You may have to do that several times since the back flush doesn't get the clog out, Hopefully it will break it up and the water will flush it out. Some times the wire works better. Be careful not to use anything that might pierce or cut the hose. If the car has a cabin filter in the heater/AC blower, be sure it is clean. Replace it if necessary. Gaker
