Check to see the thread pitch is the same on the threads of both units. Here's a simple way to do it if you don't have a thread pitch gauge. Stack both ends that screw into the end your having issues with and see if the thread matches. If they do you will see minimum daylight between the threads, and they will line up perfectly. If they don't line up you are wasting your time trying. Take the old one in with you to get the replacement one (if possible of course). This photo is a little exaggerated, but hopefully it helps. Obviously these are of a different thread pitch.

run the fault codes first to check for faulty sensors what you describe indicates a problem in the exhaust in that when the exhaust gas volume reaches a certain level the sensors are reporting it and the ECM is not able to fix it have an accredited exhaust shop check the cat converter for failure and partially blocking the exhaust at speed if it was a fuel pump you would run into problems long before the speed at which it occurs AT best it could be an EVAP problem with the vent not working properly but I think that it is exhaust related

What does the light look like? Battery, brakes, abs,???

If you have a key with a security nodul in it try a nother spare key as sometimes the original security piece wears out .

First thing is to check the abs for trouble codes so you know what to start testing.

2 plugs, fill and oil level. Remove the red plug top side trans, remove the lower plug. fill with correct fluid per manual until the fluid just starts coming out of the lower plug hole. replace plugs, its full. Do this on level ground too.

Sounds like it's time for new plugs.

You know you have a leak in your brake system. It sounds like the master brake cylinder is leaking. Replace and bleed the brake fluid or have someone do it for you, but do not drive the car until you fix and bleed the brakes.

need to have a shop fix it asap.if the chain breaks or skips timing your entire could possibly need to be replaced.replacing a serpentine belt tensioner is fairly cheap and easy
