What you say is possible and should be check out as well. Run fault codes and look for faulty TCM and torque converter clutch solenoid and servo. IT would not hurt to have a pressure test done on the transmission as well to see it and mechanical damage was done in the accident as if there was it will be claimable from the accident

Change the fuel filter first. Then look at the catalytic converter, if it continues.

The bead needs sealed. If you have just replaced the tires. Take it back. Tire shops won't use a bead sealer unless you ask (Valve stems should have been replaced also). I for one always sand down corrosion on the rim bead, then apply bead sealer. Bead sealer is messy and black. I clean them also. Most shops don't realize what it takes to get a customer to come back. I always plugged holes in tires for free. 3 drops of dish soap in a pint of water. Spray it on the tires and around the rim. You will find the leak.

Some alloy rims require tubes in the tires. Had that problem with BMW factory wheels some years ago.

I'd take it to the dealer. "Look alright" may not be sufficient information.

Take a drill bit that will drill through the fire wall.

Check your cable at the trans. And see if it has not loosen up and is not seat right.

Usually A Speed Sensor Will Cause This--However could be a temp. code due to low voltage at some point in time(code 700) which will generate code 731--1st Gear Transmission Code.

Well it sounds like you are loosing a connection somewhere. If the engine is stopping because the battery is going dead, I would check the connections for the alternator and the main fuses. It could also be a problem with the key switch. Its going to be tough to find the problem if you can't make it happen on demand in a shop.
