No you don't need to pull transmission, you drop the pan off the transmission and the shift solenoids are attached to the valve body. Measure the fluid you take out and put back in the same amount, DONOT OVERFILL THE TRANSMISSION, IT CAN DESTROY IT. Check the fluid level hot.

OK, 1st of all the oil change has nothing to do with vibrations or low roar noise. So not to worry about that. However I suspect that you have an exhaust system issue.
