you can use a "C" clamp to depress it just use the old pad to put between it and the C clamp and tighten C clamp until depressed and take a small amount of brake fluid from the master cylinder before doing this and don't forget to refill it and once the brakes are on then pump the brakes till the pedal is hard before driving the car and try autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you

Oil leak on the distributor? If this is the case, your gasket and distributor will fill with oil and the car will stop. Its expensive to have it fixed in a garage.

i would double check my timing. make sure crank is tdc and cam mark is lined up. if so double check any connectors that you might have disconected

the trans has failed internally, most likely the planetary drum, u will have to have it overhauled, don't keep driving it or you will ruin every part in the trans and it will raise the cost to repair it.

Sounds like a wheel bearing.You need a mechanic with a lift and some heavy tools. It's not a big deal.

just some info for you.
A check engine light (CEL) on steady means that you have an emissions issue that needs to be addressed when you get time.
When the CEL is flashing, it means that there is an immediate serious failure in emissions that must be addressed immediately or you could damage your catalytic converter because usually too much unburned fuel is going into the converter to be treated. This will cause the converter to turn red from trying to treat the unburned fuel.
A knocking noise tells me the ignition timing is way too advanced causing spark knock. The engine computer does this because one of the sensors tells it to.
The rich fuel mixture tells me that the computer is being told to provide more fuel to the injectors.
Usually, the mass air flow (MAF) (meter as you said) sensor is the culprit. It gets coated with varnish. You can clean it with carb cleaner and a toothbrush very gently because the wires are delicate. However, you replaced that. Could be a wire problem between the sensor and the engine computer.

All that said, a tech can run a scan test on your computer and it will give them codes that the computer says is wrong. I would call the places you had any work done and ask for the codes and what they mean. Start from there.

A typical car has EGR sensor (Exhaust gas recirculation)
TP (throttle position) sensor
Oxygen sensor, upstream & downstream (they tell computer how much unburned fuel is in the exhaust so it can send the right amount of fuel through the injectors. I suspect this sensor sent the error signal to the computer.)
MAF sensor (tells computer how much air is flowing into the engine.
Temperature sensor (Tells computer the engine temperature so it knows when the engine is warmed up)
TP sensor (tells the computer if the gas pedal is at idle, wide open throttle or part way open)
CPS (Crankshaft position sensor) tells the computer when the number 1 piston is at top dead center.
Camshaft position sensor - Tells computer position of camshaft to control spark to spark plugs for proper timing.

All that said, the computer should provide codes to condem the bad sensor.

In order to find out what's causing the problem, the headliner must be dropped (removed) to access the sunroof motor so it can be inspected and removed to inspect the slide cables up inside the sunroof/moonroof assy. Until that's done, there's not much more I can do to help except speculate.

It goes to the starter motor.

Start with the engine. Open the bay and look in the direction of the firewall. There has to be a connection going to your dash there somewhere. Try pushing and pulling, maybe you will pinch the right cable. If that did not work, try taking a multimeter and looking for broken connections.

Most electrical problems are either a short , loose connection, or software issue. Check to see if your vehicle has a CPU test point. If so take it to Autozone and they will test the codes for free. If the CPU (computer) is good then you probably have an open circuit somewhere. Check for loose connectors or broken wires. A short usually blows the fuses and then none of it works. A good volt/ohm meter is handy for tracing circuits.
