How much transmission fluid do i put in my mitsubishi montero sport 2002 3.0l v6 wheres the best place to buy the fluid?

You need 9.8 quarts of Dexron III or later, for a dry fill. A wet service fill will be less, about 6-7 quarts. Autozone or any other auto spares outlet will have it.

I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero sport and recently removed and replaced the left side cv shaft complete assemble since then I have been experiencing a binding when I turn hard left and right.

I can think of no reason why you should have this trouble. The drive shaft assembly is generally made up of an outer constant velocity joint, a shaft and an inner plunge type cv joint - your description doesn't make it completely clear what it is you replaced. Replacing the cv shaft suggests you could have replaced the shaft and outer joint, the outer joint or the complete assembly. There are alternative types of joints that could be used - the Hardy Spicer type for instance, which must be "timed" with it's opposite number at the other end of the shaft in order to eliminate an output speed variation when transmitting torque at an angle, perhaps the problem you are experiencing. That is the only idea that occurs to me apart from the possibility the abs system might have developed a fault...

Have had 6 alternators in

Could be an oil leak that's causing the alternator to go out. I had my alternator replaced and had my cam bore seals replaced, but the alternator just went out only after having it for 1 month. Going to have it replaced again tomorrow. It could be that the oil was leaking on the new one before I got the oil problem fixed. Before the brake and battery light came on, my service engine soon light came on and I took it to the dealer and they told me it was my 02 sensor so I had that replaced. A week ago my service engine soon light came on again. I checked my gas cap and made sure it was tightened and the light went off after I cranked it up again. I replaced the battery after the alternator went bad the first time because the battery died after 2 weeks. I don't have any solutions to this problem but it is very frustrating. I bought this SUV brand new in 2002 and have not had any problems in 9 years, until this situation. I had the timing belt changed at my 60,000 interval, fuel injections cleaned, I even had the transmission power flush at the dealear suggestion. Car drives great always has, but I don't want to keep having to have a new alternator and battery every 1-2 months. If anyone knows the problem and a way to fix it please post.

2002 Mitsubishi Montero won't start. Replaced the starter and fuel pump and filter.

Does vehicle engine turn over. If yes, then pay attention to fuel system. Check for good power and ground at fuel pump connector. If no power check fuel pump fuse, relay and for open wires (power, ground) to fuel pump.
