may be a vacuum hose is rotted out that leads to a device only activated over that limit; or a vacuum device that just fails to maintain good vacuum when it hits that level of demand.

I have a 1996 Toyota T100. I recently had to

This may have resulted in a valve being too tight, if it idles smooth with no misfires it's probably something else that's causing the power loss. Listen to the exhaust when idling if something that sounds like a pop, pop noise there is a leaking exhaust valve and the compression should be checked or remove the valve cover and check valve clearance. The loss of power may also be caused by the timing belt being off a tooth so be sure the timing belt marks are correct.

I KNOW IT IS 123456 BUT I wanted to know where they go do they fire ? 12/34/56/? or do they fire 14/36/52??

The #1 cylinder is on the passenger side front, those are cylinders 1,3,5 the other side are 2,4,6 counting from the front. #1 coil also fires #4, #3 coil fires #6 and #5 also fires #2. The cam gears on the middle of the cams are two piece spring loaded gears, there is a hole for a bolt to go in after the two pieces are lined up until the cams are installed then the bolts are removed, if you have any kind of manual it should mention this. The two dats are called assembly marks and are not the timing marks, the timing marls are the single dots, they use the assembly marks so that when the cams are in you can remove the 10mm bolt from the gears. let me know if you need some illustrations for those marks and I'll see if I can upload something for you but it may be tomorrow.

I hit some water. next day not running good. hardly at all. Pop pow pop pow giving it a lot of gas giving low gas wants to almost run ok? I have replaced air flow sensor, ignitor, tps, and the ecu.

Check ignition: coil, cap, rotor, wires, spark plugs can crack when hot and get wet. If it has coil over plug check coils seperately.

Rough running after 3,000 rpm

which engine? moving at 3000 or parked? wow, that be key fact , you didnt scan it yet? why not? check fuses, yet, 02 heaters may have fuses. some engines. this is called misfire. misfire is complex, but lets give 1 example to lower this complexity so we connect the OBD2 scan tool the ECT shows, 180F good I see 02 sensors front are dead. and Close loop fails at idle and 3000. so forget 3000. fix idle , its 10x easier there than screaming the engine. i then pop in a new 02, and it too fails to swing i then look and behold, a crack in the exhuast, is causing the 02 to see 20% oxygen,(lean has H3LL) causing rich fueling and rich misfire. see? that is just 1 of 50 causes. all have different logic and test flows. (skills of the ASE tech. ) at home ,we start at compression and work spark the fueling in a shop we use 5 gas and work from tail pipe forward. say we see rich. then find out why.? easy huh but tool free, is just a wild goose chase and $100s in wasted parts.

Check engine light on engine acts as if missing new plugs wires and #5 spark pack missing again 6cyl 4x4 3.4 185000 miles

was it running this way before you changed the plugs? just a shot in the dark here possibly a defective spark plug, rare but not impossible. if it was running fine before changing them. Other wise I would take it to autozone and pull codes if it is P0350 #5 misfire we would use the process fuel, fire and compression. is there any engine coolant around any cylinders? Have you checked the coil packs? could be a bad coil pack. if no evidence of fluid around them proceeded to check for spark, fuel then compression. post back results or new post with more deductions. iis it no spark no fuel or bad compression.

If there is a "Check Engine" light illuminated, read the codes out to get an idea of the nature of the misfire. If there is no "Check Engine" light, begin by checking for fuel pressure / fuel delivery issues.
