my rav 4 will not go in 2 overdrive? can som 1 help me?

Shouldn't tow with an Auto .... You'll blow the gear box ....

It's either faulty ignition lock or the switch at the bottom of the gear stick which I've had twice before

No.4 is at the gearbox end ...run the engine ,pull the plug off the coil and if there is no change then that's the problem...when you change the coil also change the plug

Timing chain has probably stretched!! So cams will be out very common

try auto-zone or napa if they dont have one for a foreign engine try one of those specialist parts stores that deal with only imports yoou should be able to find all the info you need.

try disconnecting the battery and resetting the car. if this do not work you may need a new radio.

probably the coil pack have them tested

The code is located with the original paperwork/manual provided with the vehicle. If you do not have this, you will need to take the car to a Toyota dealership and provide them with the radio serial number and the VIN.
