2007 Toyota Tundra wont start and low 4 WD light is blinking

Have you checked the gear position sensor? That would be my first place to start.

5.7l automatic 4WD. Will the starter lock up as a safety issue when you try to start the truck if it gets incorrect info from the tranny or from the transfer case?

You can remove the starter and have it tested at your auto parts store...when you bypass the starter relay it should have a crank, not a clunk...and as far as the trannie there's is a safety neutral switch attach to the shifter cable outside the trannie.

Why is starter erratic?

The next step would be to check for voltage with a 12volt test light at the starter while cranking . This test procedure involves grounding your test light then probing other end of test light to the small wire going to starter . Then have an assistant try to start the vehicle . NO LIGHT possible relay or ignition switch LIGHT ON defective starter Good Luck :)

My 2007 5.7L Toyota Tundra is spitting out codes for secondary air injection system stuck off and switching valve stuck open. Is there any possible way I can troubleshoot this problem before going out and replacing everything? If my best option is just to replace everything then what parts do I need to order?

You may have a simple vacuum leak. It can be a bad valve too? Get it checked before u throw good $ away. Good luck. PS I've seen this problem caused by a vacuum leak before.

I have an 07 tundra with 163,000. Replace battery and alternator due to battery light on. Ten miles later I noticed that the volt meter was slowing creeping up and down.

You changed the battery? Have the battery load tested with a carbon pile. The problem could be a bad cell in the battery IF that is not the case it could be an ECM issue. Alternators are internally regulated

My vsc light is coming on,2007 tundra. can you tell me which fuse that is

Hello, it's not a fuse problem, there is a fault code in the ABS computer that should be diagnosed using a code reader that can access the abs/vsc system.

How do you fix a tundra 2007 when it feels like it isn't shifting right? Couldn't be the fuel injectors?

shifting( ratio changing) has nothing to do with emissions and O2 sensors run the fault codes as it is a transmission problem

Location for starter relay

It's in the under hood fuse box. Hopefully the fuse box cover will show which relay is which. If not, this info may be in your owners manual?

Does my truck have a fuel cut off switch? it will crank but wont start

Hi, Yes it does. It works when you take your foot off the gas pedal. Better let someone more Qualified to check the system out. Most cars and trucks of all makes have computers that help to run the engine. When there is a problem (light on dash) the computer can diagnose and let you know where to start to look. The garage mechanic can check it out on his reader. (code reader). He then can replace the part(s) that is malfunctioning. Good luck

Where is the fuel filter

Most likely the fuel filter is in the gas tank along with the fuel pump, most newer cars do not have the inline fuel filter anymore.
