My 1987 toyota mr2 will not shift out of neutral when cold

have the clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder replaced indicates air in the system and/ or moisture in the fluid freezing

I have a load buzzing noise coming from the drivers side dash and the speedo goes haywire when I get to 45 mph.

sounds like you need a new cluster.. possibly a new cable. saw one on ebay for $100

How to change timing belt on 1987 mr2

Loosen motor mount and use a jacck to lift up the engine a bit. Remove timing belt cover.After you remove the valve cover gasket, place a file or something in the grooves at the end of the cams to stop them from turning and loosing timing. remove timing belt and slip new belt on.you can go to autozone dot com and register for free, the login, choose vehicle year make model, then choose to view your free online repair manual for your car.

How do i fix 1987 mr2 headlights? everytime i try to turn on my headlights, my hazard lights stays on and when i turn on the high beam it makes a buzzing noise yet no light is showing.

Check the earth wires at the headlights. Has it been at the panel beaters recently,or any damage around any of the lights ? Allan

Toyota truck 1989 will idle but will gain no speed

Your Toyota is fuel injected, no carb. The problem is obviously a defective throttle position sensor (TPS). This is an easy fix. Just need a screwdriver and a new sensor.
