Sounds like you have a firing priblem. Have you checked to see if your getting spark through you spark plugs? Let me know if you are and i will help you wirk through it until its running or you atleast know whats wrong.

These trucks have a fuel shut off to keep them from " dieseling" once the engine gets hot. They go bad at the drop of a hat. Google your year ,make and modle for a location, which will be some where near your throttle body. Once youve located it a easy check is to disconnect the wire, screw it out, seal the hole with your finger and have a friend start the vehcle and see if it idles correctly then. If it does then youve found your problem.

Sounds like you either have a break in the wires going to the plug on top of the tank or the connection on top of the tank has failed

There are several there is also some under the hood near the battery location, can you be more specific or are you just wanting a pic or something for future purposes?

Your truck is geared wrong now. If you change the tire size, you have to change your gears so the engine can deliver the power needed to turn the larger tires.

Replace the needle and seat in the carby , it's worn and flooding the engine at low speed.

Best of luck with that. You need a lot of PB or WD40 But honestly, brakes may just be the first of your problems. Gas lines, mounts, exhaust and of course the frame are all next I literally had a truck frame break in half Sometimes its just time, IMHO

Check the EGR valve.If it is sticking open it will cause this problem.

Charging voltage measured at the battery with the engine running should be 14.5. 12.5 is too low. Since you replaced the alternator, I would start checking connections. Such as where Neg battery cable attaches to chassis and ground strap between engine and frame. On a vehicle this old look for corrosion in the charging circuit cables and connections.

Please drop the glove compartment and you will see the fuses and relays to exchange...

Hi, a couple things. First is ur flasher mod installed? Next check the grounds om the tailights. U may have lost it if u had to mount the fixture differently. Hope that helps

First, is this a factory replacement starter from your local toyota dealer? My guess is not.......right? Well in my experience if is not a brand new starter meaning not a rebuild or reman they always give you problems, the click you heard is the solenoid plunger trying to get it going but dirty or worn out contacts that passed inspection some how...so do your self a favor and buy one from your local dealer or at least a good brand but new, usually I take my apart and clean them my self also replace those contacts and plunger and last one just pass 80k miles in service no problems, make sure you tight those bolts and for peace off mine use blue lock tight.
