Oil in rediator of a nissan Maxima1992 VG30E 6 cylinder engin.
the oil you see is transmission fluid.
You also have a transmission cooler in the radiator, and it must have cracked.
Need to replace the radiator.
If were actual engine oil in there, it would look like a vanilla milkshake rather than coolant/water & motor oil.
Plus the car wouldn't run.
Replace radiator and have the transmission fully flushed at a shop.
Cost of the flush should be a little over $100.
Headlight is dim on one side
Several locations on the core support and frame rails. Or just splice in a new ground lead from the head lite socket harness to ground. If its still dim, may be a low voltage issue or a failing bulb.
Exhaust leak
exhaust leaks are common, and very dangerous.
if parked say in a snow bank , you can get CO death easy.
odorless and fall asleep (no pain) death.
so keep car out side, and not near snow....
safety first.
first off, i dont know what back means.
the exhaust on most cars runs from front to rear.
from 6 feet to 10 feet.
exhausts can leak for a variety of reasons.
1: bolts fell off.
2: gasket failures
3: cracks.
4 :rust through.
5: parts fell disconnected due to clamp failures.
6: road hazard damaged.
on cars, damage has no limits. (moving running cars)
so what we d,o is have a professional look at it (ASE mech)
to see cause and damage and suggest solutions.
one other way is to take a photo of said damage
or point to crack, in photo and say,
what do you think.
then an only then can a web bunny help you./
Car cutting out
Some part of the ignition must have failed.. I would try a known good coil, doesn't have to be a new one, a used one just to check. The igniter (ignition module) can be taken off and tested at a parts store, usually for free. You may have to look at a wiring diagram of the ignition circuit. The ecu controls spark timing, so the sensor it gets crankshaft position from is part of the ignition system. Whether Toyota used a crank position sensor or a pick up coil inside the distributor, I don't know, depends on the year a lot of the time. But that is another electrical component that may have to be tested. Good luck.
