I need a diagram of the fuse box
Destyne,
It seems the image sent gets distorted and not readable. It could be the formating process. If you give me your e-mail address I can send you a clear diagram directly. Unless you have an idea on how I may upload the diagram in clear format.
Thanks,
Jlikukel

HI Can anyone tell me where and how to go about changing the fuel filter on a Toyota Hiace, LWB, 2.4 GS Diesel Powervan.
Much appreciated.
Cheers
Look first right rear back under fuel tank,< If not, follow fuel lines from fuel tank one main line, one return line, traveling parallel to frame all the way to the motor compartment on front, can be front under right passenger side, first by the filter at the auto parts, that way you will know what to look for

Greetings,
I just bought a used 1996 Toyota T100 with the 3.4L V6, pretty high miles but running great. The oil pressure guage reads very low, nearly to 0 when idling and below normal range when driving. It has plenty of oil and I notice no abnormal sounds from the engine, and the previous owner said he investigated this and the mechanic said don´t worry. Would you also agree, don´t worry?
Thanks!
Ben
hi ben
my answer would be yes i would wory about it...
Guages are put on vehicals for a reason not just for looks i would have the car hooked to a diagnostic center and checked even though the guage may be faulty but i wouldnt take a chance

please help me on what or how put the fuse in my toyota liteace fuse box. i don't know if where to put the fuse or what amp of the fuse i should put into it. please, need your assistance... i'm much appreciated if you could send me some diagram of it... thanks in advance...
Hi do this first in this order:
1. Locate your fuse box. ( should be under the drivers steering column or under the dash ect).
2. Usually there is a diagram on the fuse box cover. (usually in Japanese)
3. If you can't speak Japanese, that's fine just go through every fuse in the fuse box and inspect them all
4. Replace burnt out fuses with an identical amp match. (eg burnt 10amp fuse replace with new 10amp fuse). Simple.
Warning do not replace a burnt out fuse with a higher amp fuse as this may cause a fire.
If you continue blowing fuses all the time then there is something not right.
A lose positive wire may be arcing out to negative earth (car body). And causing you to blow fuses.
Its a process of common sense and elimination that will fix this problem.
Let me no how you get on.
Jules...

I have a 1990 toyota 4runner sr5! There is a black and white wire that goes to the starter that has power to it! Half way down this wire there is an encased diode or something and another wire comes up from there to the cold start injector. there is no power to the cold start injector. What r the values of this diode or what can i use in replacement? This does not show up on a wiring diagram!
1990 4Runner, 3.0 L engine, won't hold idle, wants to stall, no power. Replaced Mass air flow valve sensor, replaced fuel pump, distributor cap and rotor, plugs. It has good fuel flow but only runs well above 1500 rpm and when warm. It surges when cold. What other components could I change. 250,000 miles on engine.
Have you looked at your idle air control valve
What is it? This is an electrically driven valve that allows additional
control over the throttle at idle
Where is it located? The IAC is located on or adjacent to
the throttle body and consists of a small device held on by two bolts with an
electrical connector.
How does it work? When the throttle is closed the throttle plate closes off
any air from the intake manifold. In
order to stop the engine from stalling due to lack of air the IAC opens a small
valve allowing air to pass from the air ducting to the intake manifold. Often the IAC components consist of an air
inlet port in the inside wall of the throttle body, immediately in front of the
throttle plate, with a similar exit port behind the throttle plate. Connecting the two ports is a motor driven
valve. When the valve is opened air effectively by-passes the closed throttle plate to maintain the engine at idle. The IAC also augments the throttle when
additional power demands are put on the engine such as steering.
Symptoms of faulty IAC
How to check? Physically remove the IAC but keep the electrical connection
to it. Temporarily block off the now
open ports on the throttle, turn the engine on and examine the IAC valve action
in response to additional loads (power steering inputs etc). The valve should open and close according to
demand.
How to fix? If the motor of the IAC has failed
then replace the IAC. If the valve is gummed closed by baked
oil and carbon then clean it thoroughly with carburetor choke cleaner spray and
a cloth. Similarly if the entry and exit ports on the throttle body to the IAC
look blocked again clean them out thoroughly.

been setting for a year. due to accident putting it back together start it from time 2 time the last couple of times really rough idle and black smoke out of tailpipe really bad carbon smell up buy the motor
Bad carb or fuel injection issues- the system is fuel rich (black smoke) and also fuel rich system can make the idle low. Many things can cause this but thses are just a few.
