Break problem
Don't break the brakes.
this is serious.
get it fixed now. do not drive car.
fronts are80% so, is very dangerous to drive
1: is there brake fluid leaks
2: is the MC (master cylinder , full of DOT3/4? fluid?
3; if MC fluid drops there is a leak.
that is 3 steps of many.
1991 toyota 4runner efi fuse keeps blowing
Correct pump for the truck? A blown fuse means there is too much current draw from the pump.Why is the tough question.Pinched wire? If the fuse does not blow,immediately,can you measure the current draw at the pump in put wire? Be SURE to cycle the key on for 5 seconds,off for 2 and back on for 5 seconds 3 times! Prime the pump. If not primed,properly the new pump may burn out. Sorry.
Why would a distributor cap melt
The short answer would be that it got hot, but then the question is how or why.One possible cause would be where the coil was arcing to ground much like a welding machine. Or the rotor was worn out and not carrying the voltage thru the cap.
