Where is the A/c fuse location on my 92 runner? I turned my A/c on and the light on the A/c button shut off all of a sudden. I cant find the fuse to test it. Also how is the fuse labeled?
The AC system utilizes 4 fuses.
They are: a 10 amp AC, a 10 amp GAUGE, a 40 amp HEATER and a 30 amp CDS FAN
The 40 and the 30 will be found under the hood, in the fuse box, the two ten amp fuses are in the fuse box under the dash.

Can anyone tell me the process to go through to get the codes from my 4Runner? And what they mean? As I am still trying to find out why mine is missing? Have been playing a guessing game with mechanics with no solution.

My Toyota Hilus 4WD overdrive light is flashing and also, transmission seems to be slipping. When it is in Drive the engine revs up until the truck barely moves and same with 2nd, but in 1st it takes off no problem. Help!
my overdrive light is flashing due to a shattered speedo cable tip. check your fluid level. you may have to change the tranny filer and redo all the fluid.

Several years ago the blower for my heat stopped working on my 1992 Toyota 4runner. Bringing it to a mechanic resulted in three plus hours labor (trying to diagnose the problem) and then a 15$ relay being replaced. It has happened again! I would like to know where the relay is located so I can replace it myself. Thanks

wiring diagram for a toyota hilux 92 ln106 ute fried my wires trying to replace the loom need a diagram for wire colours
bought new alternator and battery. This fixed the dash lighting up like a christmas tree. Park brake still stays on. However, there is no lights when driving at night in the dash (unable to see speedo, revs etc) and no light to interior light, original clock or anything. Any suggestions????

Where is the speedometer/odometer sensor located at on a 1992 Toyota 4Runner 3.0 6cyl 5 spd trans ? is there a diagram or picture of location ? is there 1 or 2 sensors if so how to tell which is bad ?
it is the VSS sensor and is located in the transfer case housing. Its plastic and should have two wires leading from it.

92 Toyota 4runner truck was running perfectly fine Later in the day went to start and the alarm just started going off and wouldn't turn off. Truck won't start even with keys turned in ignition. Usually stops the alarm, but won't stop and won't start. It's a stock alarm. All lights work but no engine!
The alarm system somehow got activated , this is usually because the battery becomes discharged or disconnected try doing this:
Remove the key from the ignition
disconnect the negative battery terminal
put the key back in and turn to ON
exit the truck and leave door open
reconnect the battery terminal
get in and leave door open, if the alarm horn stays off it should start.

Suddenly the check engine light illuminated on my dash and the speedometer, odometer, and trip odometer stopped working.
If you have someone check the engine computer for trouble codes, you'll probably find a code for the speed sensor in the transmission.
