Why wont my vehicle start?

I don't think so. All a remote start does is activate the system like turning your key. Only does it automatically. If your engine is seized there has to be other problems. Like did it over heat. Was it run with low oil.. Did the rad go dry?

Rav 4 1998 Toyota stalling when coming to a stop, turning or placed in park. Occasionally misses (jerks) when accelerating from a stop or slowing vehicle.

Did they clean the idle air control motor. I done a few. You have to use a pick or paper clip works and dig the carbon build up out of them, with using a cleaner.

Power window won't roll up and makes no noise. Can

you have to remove the linkage from the motor to pull it up by hand and then tie it to keep up. I would use a vom to test for voltage at the motor if there is voltage then the motor is bad

Dashboard lights out and also brake lights. does that mean the battery needs to be changed on 1998 Toyota rav 4x4?

If all your fuses are good, start looking at your ignition switch. It's the one thing all those circuits have in common.

I doubt the battery would be the cause. The dash lights are on a different circuit from the brake lights. Do you have power at both fuses ?

Where is Crank Position Sensor Located?

If your timing is out, I assume you saw your plugs were either whitened and glazed with excess heat or badly sooted , not the normal brown deposits. However, to me it sounds like fuel contamination OR fuel/air starvation. This could be water in your fuel from a dodgy dealer, or if carburettor is present, jets need cleaning. I notice a web article on an IAC device for air supply which can cause stalling if dirty: http://www.rav4world.com/forums/85-4-1-faults-fixes/66739-illustrated-idle-air-control-iac-cleaning-instructions.html Good Luck
