Try swoping fuel pipes round on your fuel pump

That Can Only Be Determined After Replacing the Timing Belt Or Removing the Head, It has Been MY Experience that About 20% DO Have Valve Damage. This is Aftet MY 30 Years As A Mech/Tech. I Normaly Advise Customer Of the Chances And R&R Timing Belt and as I Say Toyota Is Better than Honda About NOT Tapping Valves when jumping Time.

Is the fuel supply okay? Has it been cleaned ? Is idle speed set correctly as a matter of interest. Sometimes if the fuel supply is just a little diminished and the enginde is allowed to run more slowly than it should under load , can result in bad behaviour. Agood tune and fuel system clean may do the job. Probably best to get it on an electronic diagnostic system

My guess would be a bad sensor on handbrake

This may be a result of not enough freon in the system, not a cause. Recharge and see if that helps.
