Car Stereo locked out need 6 digit code for Toyota Hilux 2002 Fujitsu Ten radio, need first three digits and last three digits, VIN number not working, a prior owner changed it and dont know, wasnt the last owner, called Toyota dealer - no good, stereo model is 37410 and is not the last three digits of that either, in the manual someone had scribbled 000 next to stereo PIN but that is not it either so need a mastercode please
The good news...
As an anti-theft measure, many OEM vehicles have this feature
The bad news...
The codes are not "generic" or just something anyone can find.... if it were then anyone could steal an OEM radio, contact someone like FixYa and unlock the radio
Therefore, only Toyota can provide the code for you with proof of ownership and your vin #
if you talk nicely to the Toyota technician, he/she may retrieve the code the code for free
However, since they need to use their $10,000 scan tool to access the electronic information from your vehicle their may be a charge
Depending on the charge, it may be cheaper to buy and install an aftermarket radio

Hiya, just having problems with my Toyota Hiace 93 model (Petrol). I've driven a few Hiace vans before and they seem to go ok over hills, but the new one which I have just bought seems to struggle going over the hill on 3rd gear, it gets weak to the point of almost conking out so I switch to 2nd gear and the hill isn't steep at all. I've only had the van for 1 week and i've only just come across this problem. But van is in excellent condition. I've changed battery as the other one was almost dead, done oil change, spark plugs look good and also tightened up the fan belt as it was loose and caused a lot of squeeking noise. Other problem is when you turn it on it seems to struggle abit, it seems to be very quiet when you turn it on and stalls if you don't give it a few revs when turning it on. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Regards, Quakez.
well i think the piston ring are already loose, causing insufficient air compression leading to lower power especially on uphill tracks. check also for the air-fuel ratio! too much fuel usually is the cause for thick smoke emission; too much air, causes also less power.

My radio is locked up after battery replacement. How do I fix it without going to s dealer?
It's obvious no one has a solution to my problem. So it's off to a Toyota service departent for me. Thanks for trying!

Looking for an ecu pinout diagram for the 3Y-EU engine, Help Me!
modern cars of recent construction ?? then the wiring for this is secret and not even the dealers are told as such as common knowledge ,this is to stop people like me from sorting out a particular problem with a vhicle making it dealer only repairs ,lots of money in new ECUs so stopping idiots like me from fitting a secondhand one or repairing one is a nice paycheck for the dealer

My 93 toyota 4runner speedometer not working. All the other insturments on the panel is working. What is the issue?
ive had the same problem,, but mine also has no shift pattern sometimes. sometimes i can be idling and my speedo is all over the charts. three people told me to replace the speed sensor. it had one 12mm bolt attaching it, but it is in a stupid spot tucked behined the mounting bracket on the left side with two wiress coming from it. I just held the tranny up and dropped the whole cross meber. but I dont think that is necessary. you can most likely get at it with an open end wrench. you gotta have faith!! burns-

i have a 1995 toyota hilux kzn130 diesel turbo. everytime i turn the ignition key, my glowplug light turns on for less than a second and goes off. when i try to start, the engine takes a long time to start. i know it is not the glow plug that are bad because they are new. What could be causing my hard start condition?
Hi.
If the glow plugs light turns off immediately (it is supposed to last about ten seconds), then the glow plug heating system is malfunctioning and the glow plugs are not getting correctly heated.
Check the glow plugs relay. The relay is located on the passenger side of the engine bay. The relay has two connectors of two pins each. One pin is positive input that get 12V when you turn key on or press button if glow plugs heating is manual. One pin is ground. One pin is constantly on with 12V, and one is output to glow plugs. Check that ground is OK, that input comes on, and that there is power out to plugs when relay switches on. Output is about 10/11V when you turn key in position and should drop to 7V when you start.
Start getting sure that the relay is clicking if relay has power and does not click, replace it straight away. Do not try jumping the relay, a constant 12V power to the glow plugs will damage the plugs.
If the relay is OK, then the problem is either the temperature sensor or the ECU (main control module) that powers on the relay directly with 12V.
Regards.
