Have a pressure test done on the cooling system to determine the exact point of leak but I suspect a rusted welsh plug in the side of the block of in the head Check all hoses at the back of the engine for loose clamps and wear points .

You say you "have antifreeze coming from side of engine to firewall is that correct? If so look for a small rubber hose(might be encased in ribbed aluiumin) This hose would be part of the collants systems cabin heat sysytem.Most likely it will be about 1 inch in size. and as short as 3" and can be as long as 21". I've seen this ocurr only when the engine warms up and thermostat opens.

stuck open injector. unplug them one at a time or pull the spark plugs and turn the key on and see which cylinder fills with gas. call a toyota dealer with the VIN and see if its a software issue

It may be that the hood release cable has streched so there is no tension when pulling the leaver. Try to reach reach above the lever and pull the cable making it less slack and then pull the lever all the way up with your other hand and hopefully this will open it, if this works i suggest replacing it before it stretches even more or snaps and you wont get it open..
