Hi. When you have that particular light on, you need to get the power steering motor checked. This is not something that a non-Toyota service shop can check out. You need to take it to a Toyota dealer. They can check the steering motor system, and diagnose exactly what the issue is. Unfortunatly, there is no other way you can check it, as there is not "pump" on the stweering, it is actually a small motor that runs the steering.
What does it mean when
Sorry, other expert winner the chat about your problem. This light shows operational status of traction
control system. If it is constantly lit when engine is running, this
means that traction control system is off. If the light flashes during
driving, it means the loss of traction at the wheels, and traction
control system is operating- decreasing engine torque to stop exessive
wheelspin.
Hope this help.

First you can disconnect again the battery from car terminals, waiting for 30 minutes and reconnect, in order to reset the ABS electronic control unit (ECU) and turn off the ABS light.
If this does not work you should know that the ABS fault memory can only be accessed and erased using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector (DLC). See picture below:

I would check all the earth wires to and from the battery, the heat may have melted some hence running for a short time, the thinner wires are the ones to check as they cannot take 100amps and often melt or stick together.
It's worth a look before you buy any more parts.

Did you check the fuse to make sure it is not blown?Normally you can hear it try to work by having the hood open while you stand there and have someone try it. It is full and fuse is good and it is trying to pump then either the pump is working but not really pumping anything or what I suspect is more likely is that the spray nozzles are clogged with wax. This is very common and I have seen it time and time again. Remove one of the rubber hoses from a spray nozzle and see if it it pumping out fluid. If it is not, then the pump is bad and must be replaced. It it is pumping fluid then the nozzles are clogged. Use a fine needle to clean out the nozzles. You may have to take the nozzle off in order to clean it throughly. More than likely once you probe inside the nozzles with the needle they will start working. If you end up having to remove the nozzles, and they are metal, which they normally are, you can place them in a pan of boiling water. This will for sure clean them out. The hot water will soften the wax and make it easy to pick and blow out. Have a great 2010, and good luck getting your washer fixed.

Either take it to a autoparts store and they will turn it off or disconnect the battery for five minutes and the computer will reset. If it comes back on your local auto parts representative can harmlessly run a code check on it to see what the problem is.

could be as simple as you need power steering fluid, which intels you may have a leak, or it could be a bad pump. add fluid, see how long it stays in there, check every day andmore. if it doesnt last a week of driving then you have a leak somewhere. if it does but the problem persits, its the pump
