Where is high beam fuse for Toyota solara
I have a 2007 Solara. The high beam indicator shows the high beams on but they are not. If there a high beam fuse? If so, what would it be labeled in the fuse box, I cannot find it

This is my problem: yesterday,
Hey Lyn. Regular maintenance is a scheduled procedure recommended by the manufacturer. They don't check everything every time. If you would want them to do this and create a list of things checked , I am sure they might, but it will probably cost you more. People assume that because they take their cars to dealerships , that they get the best service available. This is not always true. If the battery and alternator are bad again, I would go back to mieneke and complain to them. they are nation wide and all of them should honor a warranty. What mieneke told you was probably opposite of what happened. The alternator was probably putting out to much of a charge and toasted the battery. Weak batteries wont kill an alternator. At least I have never seen or heard of it. As far as warranty issues, it is pretty much your responsibility to bring them up to the dealer. Again if there are specific things you want checked at maintenance time take a list and have them sign off on it. If they already have a list ask to see it and when there done ask for a copy. you pay for it, so they should give you one. I suggest that if you have an issue come up with repairs, to post on here and get some insight to what may be going on with your car. There are a lot of good mechanics on this site. Randy

How can i make my lighter live all the time 2008
This is kind of involved - you'd probably be better off to get a 12v lighter ( accessory ) socket assembly from your local parts house with a 30 amp inline fuse and wire it directly to your battery. Many of these accessory kits come with a mounting bracket so you can mount it somewhere convenient. Don't wire one directly to the battery without a fuse as you could cause a major meltdown and / or fire. Getting a kit rated 30 amp will be more than enough current for your needs. You could run a new wire ( 14 ga. Minimum) to your existing socket through a fuseholder then to the battery but, usually, it's difficult to get access to the lighter socket to hook up the wire. If you do this, make sure you use a quick connector and don't just wrap the wire on the terminal end - it could fall off and cause a short circuit which may kill ( and burn ) your car.
Hope this helps!

How do I reset the MAINT light
1. Press and hold the ODO reset button.
2. While still holding the ODO reset, press the IGN button twice without your foot on the brake. The display will show dashes, then zeros to indicate the service reminder is reset.
Other models follow this procedure:
1. Turn the ignition switch to off.
2. While pressing the trip reset button, turn the ignition switch to "IG-ON." Continue to press and hold the reset button until the trip meter displays zeroes
