2004 Bonneville SLE. Driver door power windows switch assembly. All of a sudden, no window, lock power to passenger door or window, and both rear doors or windows. Driver's door and window work fine.

You probably have no idea how these work - power locks an power windows. Control modules inside each door make them work . Power Windows Operation The vehicle is equipped with power windows controlled by the door modules. Each passenger door window can be operated, either from a switch built into the driver door switch assembly (DDSA), or from a switch mounted locally to its associated door. The driver door window can be operated only from the driver door window switch built into the DDSA. When a window is operated from the DDSA, the DDSA interprets the window switch signal as a specific window switch request and sends the information to the driver door module (DDM) via the power door serial data circuit. The DDM examines the request and checks to see if it has received any class 2 serial data messages from any of the other vehicle modules (i.e. ignition switch position) prohibiting the movement of the window. If the window being operated is the driver door window, and if no prohibitive class 2 messages have been received, the DDM then applies voltage and ground to the driver door window motor to move the window glass as requested. If the window being operated is a passenger door window, and no prohibitive class 2 messages have been received, the DDM sends the request, via the power door serial data circuit, to the appropriate passenger door module. The passenger door module then applies voltage and ground to the passenger door window motor to move the window glass as requested. When a passenger door window is operated from the power window switch mounted locally to its associated door, the passenger door module first checks to see if the DDM has received any prohibitive class 2 serial data messages. If there are no prohibitive messages, the passenger door module powers the associated passenger door window motor. Both front door windows have the express down feature. This allows the front door windows to be fully opened by momentarily pulling the appropriate window switch lever to the second detente and then releasing. Hook up a scan tool an check for DTC'S could save time in diagnosing this . Also on a vehicle that old checking for broken wires in the door flexes would be good to do. Opening an closing the doors a million times causing wires to stretch ,break et... The power windows on your vehicle has a circuit breaker for battery power ,not a fuse. The power locks do have a fuse for power. Won't think circuit breaker an fuse bad at same time .

My 2002 Pontiac Bonneville shifts from 1st to overdrive and shudders violently.

that is never good and needs service big time or damage will progress worse. or learn to scan the PCM using and OBD2 scan tool. USA answers me,no place else. overdrive 5th gear or is TCC locking up in 1st. both are dead to rights wrong. latter is a huge danger. overloading the engine or trans is never a good thing. learn to scan the car first. does REVERSE and Low work. PRNDL.? just DRIVE fails?? is is this just OD lamp flashing telling you tranny is failing. scans will show VSS errors big time, or more. DTC errors

Blower stopped working on my

It could be a fuse. Fuses under the back seat.
Chances are that it's the blower itself. Pretty typical for our generation of Bonneville. I have a 2005 GXP and replaced the blower at about 75,000 miles. I can't remember the car before that I had to replace a blower... maybe 20 years ago?

Anyway, the blower is under the passenger dash.
Remove the panel under the passenger side dash; I recall two small screws.
There may be a couple wires to unplug from this panel.
The blower motor is located right above the passenger toes.
Unplug the three wire plug.
Remove a small rubber hose. It has one right angle bend. It's about the size and length of a big thumb.
Remove 3 small screws on the fan, and the fan comes out.

I have a 2003 pontiac bonneville 3.8...not turbo...I'm looking for the blower resister....where is it located?

cab heater blower dead on all speeds, ???? high speed never uses a resistor block, high is full 12vdc to the blower (fast max) fuse 37 and fuse2 not blow or wrong size or blower is dead. the blower is 2 pin 1DC motor, and can be hot wire tested easy in place to see if it is bad. fails this simple test, the controller is not bad. BINGO this car. most modern cars have no such resistor block at all the BCM and CCM climate control module modulates the fan ending blown up resistors forever , (glory on high) did you check fuse first and scan the PCM next/ oops? your car came new with 2 HVAC types full auto and manual controls, so I will now answer for both. Neither has a resistor block, it has blower motor control processor 6 wires. (end block hunts) I will read your SM manaul to you now ok both work the same for blower, now where is it. B for blower, 1 for here it is, the controller processor the manual tells all steps to reach here. 2005 Pontiac Bonneville wont start or turn over?

Great question and a very full explanation is what we love here at Fixya. The code reader has proved the issue. Now you need a mobile auto electrician with a pro grade bi-directional scan tool computer. All of those start functions come from the ECM and Sensors. There is a communication issue. https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

My 2002 Pontiac Bonneville won't start all I get

First thing to do is to test the battery. Do this by turning on the lights or radio and then try starting it. If the battery is weak when you try to start it the lights will dim or go out completely. If so replace the battery. If the lights stay bright the problem is probably in the solenoid or starter itself. The clicking you are hearing should be the solenoid on the starter trying to engage and most likely doesn't have enough power in the battery to start the car. If you are not mechanical or don't have the right tools you will have to find someone to replace the starter and solenoid. If you end up only changing the battery make sure to hook battery jumper cables or a battery charger to the cable connections to retain power to the car when you remove the battery. This is so your radio doesn't have to be reset by entering the code to the radio. If you don't have a charger or jumper cables, then make sure you have the radio code to reset your radio before disconnecting your battery or you will be disappointed when the new battery goes in and your radio keeps asking for you to enter the code and it won't work.
