The problem is the pipe that has split or separated under the fuel filler. It is supposed to be an airtight seal for the fuel and the fumes from the fuel. All called the Evaporative (gas vapour) Emission (gas NOT getting into the atmosphere) System. Nothing to do with the other items you mentioned and all caused by the above.

I have a 01 Sunfire GT. Why do you need the schematic? What is the exact problem requiring a schematic?

Did you have the new key reprogrammed? If you still have the original key, try setting on top of clam shell cover right above the ignition key on column, Try to start engine, If that doesn't work you may need to reflash the the ECM (Eng Control Module) Need more info to be precise

First check battery and connections.

check your negative ground cable first thing. make sure that it is clean on the battery and all the other places it attaches too, and there are several. disconnect the battery negative and clean it and then disconnect the positive too. when you reinstall them after at least 5 minutes make sure they are very tight. not to the point of breaking them but tight. check back see, turn the key to the On only then off and then ON ( not start) shut it off and then start it as normal. is your check engine light on?

Check fluid level and add if needed if not low would drain fluid and replace fluid filter and gaskets in pan.
