Portable Cabinet Light, Model DCMS-10. How do you change out the halogen bulb?

most fixed halogen bulb units are either held in place with a spring around the glass or a pop tab ring around the glass, these should be carefully pried away leaving the glass to fall out, once the glass is out then bulb replacement can be achieved, remember not to touch the halogen bulb replacement with your bare fingers, use a tissue or similar as the natural oils on our skin can cause a bulb to fail prematurely refitting is a reversal of removal

how to change bulb in headlight

Changing your bulb is easy first you need the correct replacement bulb. Next disconnect the wire harness located on the back of the bulb. Then you remove the lock clips or assembly which hold the bulb in place in the light fixture. Most importantly if you want your bulb to last long be sure to have latex gloves on when handling the bulb. Reason is halogen bulbs run very hot and the human hand contains natural oils which can cause the bulb to crack run hotter and burn out sooner. Best practice is try not touching the glass part of the bulb and handle it with the base or the plastic part of it. Then after the bulb is placed and fasten down again plug the bulb back in and your ready for night driving again.

i need to change the brake light bulbs in my 2002 ford courier

This is a pretty simple DIY I just didi it last Saturday! When you open the hatch there are 2 robertson screws on the side of the door seal where the tail lights meet the door opening. Remove both screws and pull the tail light lens straight out towards you trying not to pull the inside out much further than the other side (it is held in with clips on the outer edge that may break. The whole light assembly will come out in your hands with only the bulb holder wires keeping it attached. The bulbs twist 1/4 turn to remove and easy replacement of the bulb. Do the reverse to replace! Hope this helps
