Relearning key ignition on 2000 and up gm

Try relearning the key to the ignition,,,turn key on,and leave it on ten minutes,then turn it off,and right back on,leave it ten minutes,then turn it off,and right back on,and one more time,a total of 30 minutes,this should do it,if this is the problem.

Relearn the key fob,,turn key on,leave it on ten minutes,then turn it off,and right back on,for ten minutes,then off,and right back on,,do this one more time for a total of thirty minutes.

Turn the key on,leave it for ten minutes,then turn it off,and right back on,leave it for ten minutes,and repeat this a total of three times,and 30 minutes,then it should be reset.

Make sure the doors and trunk,and hood are shut,open them,and shut them .activate the anti theft,wait about 1 minute,and disarm it,see if it will start,if not,the key fob may need to be relearned,try turning the key on,leave it ten minutes,then turn it off,and right back on,then wait ten minutes,and turn it off,and right back on,do this a total of three times,,30 minutes,then try and start.
