receiver is hidden away inside the dashboard. it could be the fob is weak or you have something interfering with the fob signals, even a fob going faulty can interfere with its own signal, if you have a spare fob try the difference with that one. if you don't have a spare its best to get one as it may come in handy, it will need programing to the vehicle but it will take up 6 fobs.

Sounds like you have a short circuit somewhere, and now possibly a flat battery. Too many possible causes of short circuit. I assume you have checked fuses and relays.
Lost only key for Saab 93 2004aero 2litre turbo
The doors work on a different system to the ignition. The doors will unlock but the ignition key immobiliser is specific to each car. That means the car won't recognise the key. Replacing the lost key would have been the easiest fix even though it costs a lot. All you need is the vehicle details for your car. I was quoted £200 for a replacement Vauxhall key. Cheaper than replacing steering columns and associated electronics.
Your only other option is to take it to a Saab Dealer/specialist and pay the 'silly money' for them to reset and link the replacement scrap car key to your car.

Removal of wiper arm on 2004 sad 9-3 help
Both front and rear are fitted in the same way. They slide over a splined axle and held in place with a nut. The nut is covered with cover that pulls free. Loosen the nut, (probably a 13mm), until it is only on two or three turns. This is to stop it smacking you in the face if it comes off suddenly.
The arm should pull off. If not, the safest tool to use is a 'puller'. It hooks around the back of the arm and eases it off. If you don't have one try this.
BE CAREFUL TRYING THIS!
DO NOT lever the arms off as this could smash the window glass.
Using a wooden block or the HANDLE end of a hammer TAP the arm at the end of the pivot/bolt mount. Then tap it on the left and right sides. Give it a wiggle and it should come loose. They usually stick because they have been over tightened.

Search Saab forums for your year and model to get advice on the driver's window. Re the heated seats not turning off -- try spraying some WD40 into the switch and turning on/off several times to clean it. If that doesn't work, you'll need to take out the switch and either repair or replace it.

I have problem with saab 93 aero 2000 model 2.0
Check control module and wireing for loose or bad connection. Intermittent problems are hard to diagnose even at shop and can get expensive fast so also try taking off negative battery cable for 1 hour to reset all cars computers believe it or not this fixes 80 percent of intermittent problems

2000 9-5 wagon 2.3L turbo. trouble light comes on
For the amount of money it will cost it would be worth changing the thermostat anyway. They aren't very expensive and reasonably easy to repair.
Water pump replacements are more expensive AND more work. Try the cheaper one first as thermostats are known to wear out.
If the overflow tank is backing up it will be because the safety valve built into the water pump is diverting built up pressure.

I assume this is the turbo version. If so, check the bypass valve (diaphragm often develops leaks) and ALL the hoses and connections.

Automatic gearbox warning. Limited performance
always treat a warning message as serious and have it check at an accredited service center
could be that the oil needs replacing, a problem sensor or wiring or clutch/band adjustment
although there are manufacturers that say the oil never needs changing(GM for example), transmission oil suffers from extreme temperatures and loads and these factors cause oxidation of the oil (burning ) that requires the oil to be changed on a regular basis (60,000-100,000 miles or 100,000 klm
