2003 Saturn Vue 2.2 liter. Why is it stalling and the codes are P0340 and P1599. The car doesn't have a camshaft position sensor?

Circuit Description This ignition system does not use a conventional camshaft position (CMP) sensor that detects valve train position. The ignition control module (ICM) detects when #1 or #3 cylinder has fired on its compression stroke using sensing circuitry integrated within each coil. The sensing circuit detects the polarity and the strength of the secondary voltage output, the higher output is always at the event cylinder. The ICM sends a CMP signal to the engine control module (ECM) based on the voltage difference between the event and waste cylinder firing energy. This system is called compression sense ignition. By monitoring the CMP and crankshaft position (CKP) signals, the ECM can accurately time the operation of the fuel injectors. If the ECM receives an intermittent CMP signal from the ICM, the CMP Resync Counter on the scan tool will increment. When the ECM cannot use the information from the CMP signal, DTC P0340 will set. Diagnostic Aids • The following conditions may cause this DTC to set: - Low resistance in both the #1 and #3 secondary ignition circuits - High resistance in both the #4 and #2 secondary ignition circuits - An intermittent crank signal • An Intermittent crank signal will result in an interrupted cam signal and may set this DTC. • To locate an intermittent problem, monitor the CMP Active Counter parameter while running the engine with a scan tool. The counter should continuously count up to 255, then reset to zero. The counter will stop counting if a fault occurs in the cam signal circuit. If this DTC is determined to be intermittent, refer to Intermittent Conditions .

I have a 2007 Saturn Ion 2.2 liter and my car turns on then dies immediately and blew my BCM electric fuse. Any idea why the fuse is blowing?

The person with 'no clue' you are questioning the answer from, is a full time vehicle electronics technician who does this 5 days a week and is our Fixya vehicle electronics Expert when he isn't. He has access to all the Saturn technical bulletins and schematics. This is not a fault you can fix yourself, you need an auto electrician with a professional grade scan tool, access to schematics and the ability to read them. Tracing shorts is not easy. https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

2006 Saturn. I put a new exhaust manifold on it and an oxygen sensor now my car is spitting and sputtering when I crank it. What could it be?

Question edited for clarity, change 'spuddering' to 'sputtering. No Model Type provided. Where is it spitting from? The exhaust tailpipe or the new exhaust manifold? Did you replace the gasket? Were the bolts torqued down? Was the Oxygen Sensor a good OEM one, or a Chinese / Mexico copy? Is the connector clean and making good contact? Did you check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes using a Scan Tool computer? Was the vehicle running recently or stored 2 years with fuel that has gone bad? The answer is in there somewhere Pamela. ..

2006 Saturn Ion 2.2l after driving the car, I park and turn the car off I can't get the key out why?

This could possibly be one of two things. An old, worn ignition key or a faulty shift/park solenoid. If you are going to replace the key DON'T recut the key you are using now as you are only copying a Bad key. Get a brand new key from the Dealership. You will need the VIN number to do it. The solenoid is located on the side of the gear shifter housing under the centre console so you will need to remove it to get access to it.

2006 Saturn Ion I have one that won't crank or start. I put it on an OBD2 and it gave 2 codes 1 something about the turbo sensor and 2 something of the coil sensor or something strange.

Jeff Armer up above in that Additional Information box is our Professional Automotive Technician and will be able to solve your issue. But just to explain, the OBD2 Codes are the key, 'something about' doesn't cut it. The codes are of the form 'P' and 4 numbers. The codes tell you the EXACT fault and from there you find the solution. Here is a list of codes https://www.engine-light-help.com/saturn-check-engine-light.html ..
