What is wrong with my 2015 Suburban tailgate? The fob and front lift button only lift the gate 1/4 and then it shuts.

Liftgate control moduel uses sensor inputs to control the it , maybe one of these sensors is bad . Having a qualified repair shop hook up a professional type scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in the lift gate control module would be the first place to start

Does the 2009 CR-V have a door jamb sensor for the tailgate? Tailgate light is on, on dash. Doors won't lock with FOB or while moving. Tailgate closes, locks and unlocks, it just thinks it's open.

Sounds like a bad switch on the tailgate. Open your tailgate and look for a switch. When you find it...press it in completely and see if the sensor light goes off. If so, replace it.

2009 Toyota Highlander LE power back door is not closing it closes but opens back on its own

this is the common problem of some new model suv now,
check out first the sensor at sides of tailgate for some stain that detected by the sensors , if there are some dirt or stain at sensors it will not works properly because as it knows that there are some object at the tailgate, if you cleaned it and same problem, open the upper portion of rearward ceiling to find out any problem here, specially to the moving wires and secured the wires and harness, keep away from sharp object at the roof to avoid wiring damage

Auto tailgate warning light is on dash board but tailgate closed.

I have a similar problem, my tailgate stopped working with the outside handle and the remote but can be opened manually from the inside. I don't have an alarm so there is no problem with that but did you get a solution for the tailgate problem that I could try?

2005 Honda Odyssey Tailgate Problem

Try to reset the tailgate by removing the no.7 (7.5 amp) fuse in the underdash fuse box. Open and close the tailgate manually, reinstall the fuse, and try the open tailgate button. If that doesn't work you would have take it to the dealer, where they can check for DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes). Honda Al
