Blinkers work sometimes, sometimes they don't

Sometimes they work and when they don't nothing happens. Sometimes if they don't work if I put my hazard lights on and then turn the hazard lights off then the blinker starts to work.

Here is some extra information on replacing the Daewoo Lanos indicator / hazard lights relay. Open the driver door, on the side of the dashboard there is an access panel. Flip it open with a screwdriver.
Now you can pull out a violet connector block. The relay is plugged into this block, it is green. You can just pull it out of the connector block and replace it by a new one. The part number is 96312545, and it has three pins, numbered 31, 49 and 49A.
Other specifications: 12V 2/4x21W. It is made by Daewoo / DECO. The same type of relay is used in the Daewoo Matiz. I picked up a used relay from an old Matiz for 2 euros and the indicator/hazard lights work like
a charm again. The whole replacement took about 2 minutes, but it took me days to get the used part. Probably other relays with these three pins will work too: google for "31 49 49A". Hope this is useful to other people who run into problems with the Daewoo Lanos indicator lights!

Sounds like the flasher(which is your hazard switch) is failing.

My hazard blinkers work but nothing happens when i try my turn lights. Are the hazard and turn lights the same bulb?

The problem is likely in the flasher unit. The hazard blinkers and turn signals use different flashers. They are usually located on the fuse box under the dash. Check your owner's manual for location.

Both blinkers don't work but flashers do

There should be a flasher unit on the fuse box under the dash for the turn signals and another behind the dimmer switch for the hazards.
Sometimes one of the flashers is behind the fuse box in the glove compartment if equipped.
Don't be surprised if the flasher is not the problem. Most of the time the problem is the multi-function switch on the column.
There are stories online about using WD40 to take care of the switch problem.

no. its the 4 way flasher thats bad. if you pop off your center air duct covers you can get to the flasher box. you have to unplug the cruise and 4 way flasher take out the box and get a new one. they are about 80 bucks. i have just been slapping the top of the dash and they tend to work after one or two hits.

Hazards and blinkers not working

There are separate fuses for the turn signals and blinkers, but you should check both of them just to see if they're good.

You may have a burnt out turn signal bulb as well. I know that this sounds like an obvious answer, but a single bulb can sometimes disable the entire system because of the way that some flashers operate.

You could also have a defective turn signal/hazard light flasher. This is located under the dash board on the driver's side between the steering column and the door. You have to remove the sound insulation/kick panel (the cover on the bottom of the dash board) to reach the flasher (it is easy to remove - I don't think you even need tools).

Turn Signals/blinkers

Did you double-check to be sure the fuses are intact and not blown? If they are OK, it could be a turn signal relay or the switch itself (I have firsthand experience with the switch failing with respect to headlight operation, so there's no reason to believe that it couldn't fail for turn signal operation as well).

If you find that it's the switch, reply here and I can walk you through its replacement - it's about a five minute job.
