If the brake caliper and caliper bracket are removed, then spray really good with penetrating oil, let set about 10 minutes and beat it off with a good size hammer. rust has apparently got the rotor seized to the hub.

Explain how to remove front brake rotors on a four wheel drive 1983 f150 staight six with manual locking hubs

once you remove brake and hub assembly place on clean workbench with the lug bolts up, then with a center punch and hammer place punch on center of lug and knock it out would reccomend putting the lug nuts on lugstuds till they are flush in order to prevent damage to threads of studs.this will allow you to seperate rotor from hub.

How to remove a rusted rotor on a hub? i want to takethe hub off and get the rotor pressed.. any thoughts 99 ford Expedition front rotors..

Are you talking about the front rotors? The hub and rotor are one assembly and do not seperate on that truck. If you need to replace one part, the replacement part will have the hub and rotor together.

When buying rotors for a 95 Bronco 4X4 should the rotors be seperate from the hub or should they be attached as one piece? Im getting mixed info from part stores.

The reason you're getting mixed info from parts stores is because it comes both ways.
Look at the following to determine which one you have, 4 wheel disc brakes (floating front rotors) or rear drum brake model (except 4 wheel disc brakes):
Brake Disc (Rotor) REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Except F-Super Duty with 4-Wheel Disc Brakes Fig. 1: Secure the caliper so there is no tension on the brake hose 88289p22.jpg
  1. Jack up the front of the truck and support it with jackstands. Remove the front wheel.
  2. Remove the caliper assembly and support it on the frame with a piece of wire (or something equally secure) without disconnecting the brake fluid hose.
  3. Remove the hub and rotor assembly.
  4. Install the rotor in the reverse order of removal, and adjust the wheel bearing as outlined in Section 1.
F-Super Duty with 4-Wheel Disc Brakes The hub and rotor are individual pieces, allowing the rotor to be replaced independently. The front and rear rotors are the same and are attached with 10 bolts and washers. The bolts are tightened a little at a time, in a crisscross fashion, to an ultimate torque of 74–89 ft. lbs. (100–121 Nm). prev.gif next.gif

How to replace front wheel bearings

Hello, the front wheel bearing is not to be serviced seperately, it comes as a complete unit with the front hub and the ABS sensor ring.

so there is no need to press the bearing into the hub.

Just remove the driveshafts, the rotors and calibers and replace the hub.

How do you change the front wheel bearings on a 1994 Kia Sephia?

its a pressed in bearing,i would recommend u to have it done by mec.but here goes, take wheel off, undo cv axle center bolt, undo brakes, calyper, disc rotor, undo tie rod, lower control arm ball joint, undo strut from steer.knuckle, slide knuckle off cv shaft.at this point u can take steer.knuckle to machine shop to seperate and install hub and new bearing or u can have fun taping out hub and bearing and theres a good chance that bearing will seperate when taping out hub, youll need a puller to take bear.part off hub, then taping them back in without damaging bearing.u will need ball joint seperator, socket for cv bolt,2 jaw puller.

Front brake rotors 1995 toyota 4runner

If you have 6 bolts going around the center (manual lock in/lock out) hub, you are going to be there a while. The center hub needs to come off, and ALL of the internal wheel bearings need to come out. The whole locking hub must be removed in order get the rotor off. This is NOT an easy job, and you need a special tool to loosen/tightem the wheel bearings. Figure 2 hrs per side if you have all of the proper tools & skill level.

I need to know how to take the front hubs off to replace the rotors on a 1994 Isuzu Trooper.

97460706 Take it apart in the order you see you need some snap ring pliers for item #4 . Take off #7 and the rest of the parts. Seperate the hubs from the Rotors (it may need to go to a machine shop fort this operation) When you reassemble make sure that one of the holes in # 7 line up perfectly with a threaded hole in #8
Make sure you get the wheel bearings tight but not too tight and Grease them properly with the prooper Lube recommeded by Izuzu.
Hand TORQUE the wheel lug nuts as Izuzu has a BIG BIG Problem with wheel lugs stripping USE A TORQUE WRENC
