you did not say how long (time or miles) it took to damage the cable.
did you lube the cable, each time? replaced?
and yes, if the collar on the front of the trans, or the main spline
shaft to the transmissiion are galled, or the throwout bearing is bad
or worn at same points, it will bind.

if the pedal binds, with a new cable , the clutch is bad
10hrs labor for 4wd. (done many, )
can be less if you have top tools.
I find pulling the engine, faster. (tools)

did you use a non china clone cable?
or a good one.
i have friends that used the plastic clone cable, they are all junk.

I noticed there is threaded adjustment on the clutch pedal push rod going into the clutch's master cylinder hydraulic system. Is this one way I can adjust the hydraulic clutch on my 1998 suzuki sidekick...

Yes, if you need a little oomph out of the pedal, you can get a little more throw out of the adj rod, or you can get a little less, it doesn't take much to move a clutch. Depends on what the clutch is doing, chattering, slipping, grinding, not shifting. You know, that kind of stuff all gets different adj. Check it out.

The clutch pedal assembly is slipping on the shaft causing it to not disengage properly . The splines seem to be worn off and local dealers can not seem to find replacement parts.

Try drilling through it and inserting a small bolt or roll pin.
Or go to a salvage yard.
Remember GM also sells the same vehicle as the Geo Tracker.
You could also take the shaft and pedal in to be welded, but that may be undesirable.
But I would not try epoxy because of the potential danger.

Bled the clutch and slave cylinder on 97 suzuki sidekick sport and I still have no clutch pedal

You may have a worn out clutch master cylinder. Check if there's fluid leak at the rear portion of the cylinder.

Suzuki sidekick clutch problem

Check the cable clearance. Too much clearance will cause clutch slippage or total clutch disengagement. Adjust the cable so that the clutch pedal will be hard to press by hand .5 to .75 inch from its initial point.
