My gas light want go off it want stop reading empty

My Denali had the same thing. It is a factoey recall and is covered. If it is the same thing and if the recall does not have an expiration. Have your dealer look at it and it may be fixed for free.Mine eventually started leaiking fuel, which wil happen to you too, so go quick.

Ither you have a loose connection to the sending unit, or you guage is faulty. i would check the wires and connection. considering the age of your vehicle, I doubt you have a faulty gauge. even though this rarely occurs it's possible that you have a stuck float on your pump inside the tank but it's possible. please rate this .........thanks
