Hi,
The solenoid directs fluids to the governor and valve body( inside the ****** ).
Better bring that to the nearest garage to check the fluid and the filter, just to see if fluids flows freely.
The solenoid can be check by applying power just to see if it still works.
Hope that helps you out!
Mate, I answered what you inquired in this site and you rated me that it did not helped you.
Now your saying it is not the real problem of your car.
Next time go to a service mechanic than guessing your problem!
As I found out the ignition switch controls all the power to the VCM and the transmission siliniods. If the switch is bad the silinoids will not work properly. The advice you gave me on here earlier would be helpful in many cases, but not in this instance. I do thank you for taking the time to answer my question though. When I rated the advice you gave me as not helpful I was only rating your opinion and not you as a person. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, but even the best mechanics are sometimes wrong so don't take it personal.

No my transmission fluid level is fine and I just serviced the transmission about six months ago. After doing some research I have decided the problem is in my ignition switch and not in my transmission.
