You can call Saturn of Tempe, Arizona and they will help you reset it over the phone for free. But if you'd like to try to avoid that by doing it yourself, try this process. (Be sure to read it prior to starting to avoid having to restart if you run out of time.)
***NOTE: This method is about 6 years old and may no longer work.***
1.) If your radio reads "LOC", then continue to step 2. If it reads "INOP", then turn your ignition to "RUN", and
turn on the radio. Your car must remain in this position for 60 minutes and no less. I would suggest waiting 90 minutes to avoid restarting the timer.
2.) Turn your ignition to RUN (if not already), and turn your radio off.
Press and hold preset buttons 2 and 3 for 5-10 seconds to obtain a
scrambled version of your radio's original factory set code.
3.) Call 800-537-5140. Ignore anything you are prompted to do, type
the number 202108 into your phone and press the # button.
4.) When told, input the code you are given (It should be a 4-digit code since you're in a Saturn), then
press the * button (NOT pound symbol) and be ready to write down the unscrambled code. Keep your code in a safe place where you can easily access it and won't lose it.
5.) Press and hold 5 and 6 on your radio for 5-10 seconds.
6.) Then press the seek down button once to start the entry process.
7.) Using the following key, repeatedly press the buttons to set your code:
seek left = first digit
seek right = second digit
tune left = third digit
tune right = fourth digit
8.) Once you have the code entered, press AM/FM to set it.
Unless somebody wrote the code down in your owners manual, you will have to take it to the dealer. They will push a series of buttons, get a code out of the radio, then call the factory to get the unlock code. I'm sure there is an associated fee involved.
