I have a 93 Plymouth Voyager. About a week ago both the brake and ABS lights came on and I had almost no brakes. Made it home, and found broken springs in rear passenger brake. Fixed them, also bled the brake lines. They work ok now, but both lights are still on. How can I fix it?

The question is: do you still hear the buzz of the brake pump? If your brake pump has stopped get a hammer and metal rod about 2 feet long. Open the front hood of the car and turn the ignition on but do not start the car. Locate the brake reservoir (with fill caps) and follow the two large hoses down to the metal pump directly underneath bolted to the top of the transmission. Place the metal rod against the side of the pump and rap it several times with the hammer. If the pump is stuck it should start running again after a couple of taps. With the pedal is now soft and the ABS is now working the lights should go out after a couple of stops. You should be alright to drive until the pump gets stuck again , usually from 2 to 6 months. If the pump will not start up go to the salvage yard and purchase a used one. A new one if still available it will run about $900. If you have made the right repairs the lights will go out on there own.

My 1998 plymouth voyager came with abs brake system, can I change it over to manual brakes? If so what is the best way to do this?

To answer specifically, this kindof already happens if your ABS system is not working. When the ABS system is not working your brakes should go into a "manual mode". You could have the ABS unit removed and new brake lines installed, but for a 1998 voyager, I wouldn't bother. Keep in mind though, you don't have anti-lock anymore. So drive this vehicle accordingly. Don't slam on the brakes and be ready to ease up on them if they should cause the tires to slip.

On my 98 plymouth voyager the abs light is on and also my driver side brakes are SMOKING HOT. Could the brake catilaber be bad?

You need to resolve all system fault codes first,
such as the ABS issue

Then work on brake hoses, calipers, etc

You will have a bearing melt down next, from
the heat

Fixing brakes

Try bleading the brakes, sounds like you have in them. Than the ABS light should go out & you shouldn't have to worry about the fuses.

93 Plymouth Voyager Bendix-10 ABS failure. Chrysler will not acknowledge parts unlimited warranty for actuator piston and pump assembly per NHTSA Campaign ID Number 96V099000. What can I do?

I have had the same problem on two Chysler vans..(1993 and 1994).. the ABS brakes on these cars are the pits.. Dodge will charge you big $$$ to replace the whole unit (which will break again).. plus they don't honor LIFE TIME warranty... The solution..
Rip out the ABS..and put normal brakes in..it's not big deal and will cost about $150. You need a Brake Booster, Master Cylinder, Proportion valve and a Brake pedal... and a Saturday.. I've done it twice now.. I got all the parts (via the internet) from a junkyard in illinois (a common 'Kit" that they sell)

94 Plymouth Voyager ABS light stays on

Had a similar problem a number of years back. Underneath the brake pedal arm is a small switch with a plunger. when you press the pedal down it moves the plunger in and engages the brake lights. when you let off it's supposed to pop back out (turning the lights back off). Possible it is getting stuck in the down position and could need to be replaced. very easy to install and only about an 8 dollar fix.
