Why would the break light in my car be coming on? It doesn't do it all the time. My breaks are working fine. No grinding or anything. It will just beep and come on sometimes while Im driving. I have a 2002 dodge stratus.

The warning brake light has a dual purpose. Check your brake fluid and check your brake light bulbs. If it is low on fluid, it will trigger the light. If the bulb is lose or weak, it will also trigger the light. Good luck!

Car Issues

I'm sorry to say you will not find an answer online for this.
As a mechanic I would have to be there in person, and the problem would have to be happening for me to track down the cause.
I will say I did not understand your statement about the gears behind the dash, what you described sounded like a wiring problem or something in one of the electrical components.
If the check engine light or the ABS light came on while the engine was running, you could have trouble codes stored in the computer. So it may be worth a visit to a shop or auto parts store to get the computer scanned. The codes would give you a direction to look in.

Where is the break light fuse on a 2003 dodge stratus

Check the power distribution box by the battery, or under the hood. The underside of the box cover should show the fuse location and its application. If not there, it would be in the fuse panel in the car. Owner's manual should tell location, if the panel cover doesn't show a diagram.

Ever since I've had my 2002 trailblazer the back driver's side window won't go up or down. At times the window seems to fall down about an inch or so and I can full with the switch and can...

your window is driven using a cable drive system. kinda like bicycle brake & gearshift cables.
these systems are prone to break. i just wonder why it made noise for so long without breaking.
what you probably need is a window regulator assy.. napa sells them for $191.00 with a new
motor. the hardest part of doing the job is getting the door pannel off without breaking anything

1987 honda accord lx brake lamp indicator bar is on lit up on dash car display

This is most likely one of three things.
1. Your emergency break is not fully disengaged ... Pull the break lever all the way up and release it a few times ... sometimes things just get a little stuck. If your car seems to be fighting against moving, it could be that the breaks themselves are actually stuck ... and you should bring it to a mechanic to have your breaks checked SOON -- before the heat from over-worked breaks causes your rotors to warp, or overheats your breaking system and costs you a lot to fix.
2. You could have a bad emergency-break sensor -- so your car thinks the e-break is on when it is not. If you replace the sensor, you should be fine.
3. I don't think that Hondas actually come with a sensor to tell you if the break lights themselves are out of order (at least in a car from 1987) but I might be wrong. Have someone step on the breaks for you and make sure all of your lights work. This is not likely to be the problem, but it is worth a look before you spend money to fix something that is not broken. (If you live alone, you can also use a large rock or brick to hold the pedal down so you can check the lights ... just make sure the car is off so the rock doesn't slip to the gas pedal and put you or your engine at risk.

Abs brakes

does all break grab?? if so, the break master cyclinder need attention. if only one break grab then one of the break cyclinder need attention. the cyclinder is not backing off when the break is released.
do not keep driving the car if you don't fix the break. the car will lock up and going to cost you more.
