In my 2002 Grand Caravan Sport the light bulb that illuminates the speedometer, tachometer, temperature & fuel gauge has quit working. What would cause this other than a burnt out bulb or fuse and how would they be replaced?

The first thing I would do is call the dealer and see if they show a part number for the instrument cluster illumination bulbs. If they do than its as easy as removing the cluster and replacing the bulbs.
check the fuses. they are under the back seat just pull up on the lower part of the back seat and it will come out. fuse box is on the drivers side. check to see if water is getting in that could be the cause.
If all the guages quit working at the same time, then it is probably a blown fuse. Check your fuse panels in the dash or under the hood. Look for a fuse that is labeled instrument panel or guages, it is probably blown.
My van did the same thing. Actually the gauge had spun all the way around to the back side of the little peg that the needle rest on. To fix it I took the face of the dach board apart with a screw driver and rotated the needle by hand back to zero and its worked fine ever since..
If you look under the dashboard on the driver's side, there is a fuse panel. Under this panel is the BCM(body control module). There may be a bad relay in the bcm. Worse case scenario is a bad BCM. I hope this information is helpful to you, Good luck.
