We spilled a carton of milk in the trunk of our 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander and I want to remove the carpet to clean it out properly. I've figured out everything except for the section that tucks under the plastic piece at the base of the tailgate. I'm sure that piece comes off somehow, but I don't want to just start pulling and break it. Can you help me?

In the body shop that was just about what we would have to do when there are no visible screws and it was the first time removing a panel in a new type of vehicle.

Those panels are usually held in place with some metal clips (sometimes plastic molded into the panel) that snap into slots in the body. You can lightly pull and get a feel for where there is reistance. Slide a thin tool like a paint stick (or something stronger) and use it to pry up in the area of resistance. You may also be able to pry up and look under it to see where the clips are.

Can I purchase and have fitted the extra seats for

yes I would look in a salvage yard for the seat maybe ebay.com all the bolt holes should already be in the car body so unless you are picky about exact matching seat you could do this your self around $200.00-300.00

Spilled milk under the rear seats in my 2006 Ford Fusion SEL.

its not hard, the seats are meant to be removed fairly easily, there are two latches under the seat about a foot in from each edge that have to be released (i think you just reach up under and then its just like a trunk or glove box latch, then push back on the seat and lift up on the front and it should pull out.

Where is the cabin filter on a 2007 outlander . Can I change this myself?

HI,
Please make sure you have proper screw drivers before you do this.
The cabin filter is located behind the gloves compartment. You have to empty it first and fully open it all the way down until you see a plastic cover with two screws. Remove the screws and pull the cover and filter cartridge out. Put in the new one, tight the two screws, raise the compartment back.

2007 Mitsubishi Outlander Servive Engine Soon Light ON

The first thing you should do is have the codes read. Most auto parts stores and many repair shops will do this for free. After you have them read you can post them back here and I can help you figure out what might be going on.
