The malfunction light has come on now what to do

first ,go check your gas cap,make sure its on tight(3-4 clicks) drive vehicle if light still on, replace cap.if this cures it,your good to go. If it still on go to autozone,ask them to pull the the OBD2 Code they will do this for free. or go to walmart buy you an OBD2 reader (18-20.00) check it yourself. maybe somthing you can repair yourself real cheap.

Cylinder position sensor intermittent interruption

so the car is in the USA? and if true. it has OBD2
and as such has a OBD2 scan port and as you scan
it shows errors, did it, did you?//// shoe drops...
CMP sensors, (cam)
if car is USA the FSM covers this 100% honda books are superb , like Toyotas.
the book is here, see it? at bottom? its free, give it a whirl.

i can tell you, if the CMP is droping out 1 in 10times
it's bad,or the connections to it, are bad.

Where is my obd2 connecter?

OBD DIAGNOSTIC LINK CONNECTOR / 1995 Honda Accord 2.2L MFI 4cyl
The OBD Diagnostic Link Connector is located: Front seating area, driver side, driver side of steering column, mounted behind center of instrument panel.

Where is the socket for the coding machine on a 97 Honda Accord

the car is OBD 1 and the socket to connect to should be under the hood towards the pass. side... if not there check the center console under the radio area on both sides cause it will be the OBD 1 connector you are looking for not the OBD2 which is totally different... hope this helps...

EMMISION 1995 HONDA ACCORD

The OBD2 system is on '96 and newer cars. There should be an OBD1 connection under the hood on the drivers side, But good luck finding an OBD1 scan tool.

98 honda accord 0401code changed egr what else can I do ?.

remove the egr .clean the carbon out the intake where egr valve sits . use a small tiny tiny screw driver or old coat hanger clean out the hole then vacuum up carbon.put back egr valve.
