Not sure I am following your question, or maybe questions. If you can not shift out of park with the key on, the brake switch on the pedal may be faulty or out of adjustment. If the warning light is on, it could be the fluid level sensor in the master cylinder, or the parking brake switch. If you have no brakes after you try bleeding the master cylinder, the rod inside the booster may not be connected correctly. If you replaced the master cylinder along with the booster, you would need to bench bleed the master before installing it in the truck.
do the brake lights come on now with the new brake switch? Why did you replace the brake switch? It sounds like the switch is not being actuated or does not have a good electrical connection. You cannot move the shifter out of park unless the brake switch indicates the brakes are depressed. Whether or not the brake lights are functioning is a good indicator of whether the switch is working or not.
my 1997 chevy tahoe starting doing the same thing one day it wont shift our of park you have to start itthen shut it off but not the key all the way then push in the brakes start it an then shift it in nuetral then it run s fine but you have to do thart evry time you shut it off can t figure it out
The radio may have an auto volume function that may have accidetly been tripped. As far as the transmission issue, it might be an electrical problem or it could be something mechanical near the shifter in the steering column. If you have to turn the wheel to get it to work then that is where I would start first. make sure that there is nothing that would impede the shifter from working properly.
